Just got to make the baskets in the paint and stay out of foul trouble. Morrow will be big in this game.
Foul trouble is the issue. The NCAA will do what it can to assist getting their golden child into the final four.

No bigs like USC and UCLA. A bunch of shooters, but Clark is pretty good. A liitle D would help the Tiger's cause.

Just FYI, that would be a prima donna. Originally defined as the lead female singer in an opera. It has come to also mean a very temperamental person with an inflated view of their own talent or importance.

Win or lose I expect Caitlin Clark to be a whinnie baby. She will be dramatic to pull sympathetic fouls from officials who will likely be ready to give them. We apparently are not liked by much of the (liberal) media.

If lsu stays out of foul trouble they win by double digits.
If they are having to manage the bench because of fouls, we likely lose.

I have no issues with doing all you can to to get an edge. All players do it.

Will be interesting to see how CKM decides to guard Clark. Johnson and Poa are the best candidates, but you hate to see Johnson get worn down and have it impact the OFF side of the court. She has really emerged the last two games as a scoring threat off the jumper and off the dribble.
Play YOUR game Tigers. We are going to need impactful minutes from the top 7 b/c this will likely be a fast paced contest. If Johnson & Williams can keep scoring off the dribble and Reese & Morrow get that inside game going, this team will be tough to beat. Monday night is must see TV!

Well let’s hope they play the game on paper

I agree. Czinano and Warnock are gone and I don’t think Iowa has the bodies to compete down low.

Agreed, Just like last year , It’s No stopping CC, She’s gonna get between 20-30 , But stoping those around her is how you take care of Iowa. I’m sure she will see a Nice dose Of Flau’jae, Poa and HVL .

LSU is going to have to figure out a way to get around Iowa packing the paint. LSU needs to hit some early outside shots to force iowa to extend their defense. LSU has to stay out of foul trouble. I'm sure KM is reiterating this to them. If they catch the ball down low at the block, give up the layup if you have too, just don't hack and foul. Hopefully HVL can give LSU some sort of offensive production

3-point shooting is small ball? Sounds more like gorilla ball to me.

But the refs are gonna call this tight against LSU… Clark is a ratings darling and they will do everything in they can to make sure she moves on. In a fairly called game LSU would win by at least ten….

I think the game would have been closer if not for an unexpected hot Carson.
You remember the game well as do I. Carson who was not known as a great 3 point shooter I believe had 7 3 pointers in the 1st half. Obviously, that was a key to the game.

You are ONE BILLION PERCENT accurate.
I could not care less about lil girls basketball, but I still hopped in the thread to alert the few (compared to real sports) who are.
I'm not normally a sports conspiracy guy, but there is ZERO CHANCE that the NCAA ABC/ESPN won't do everything possible to get Clark into the final four.
They would prefer if Clark was an "out" black lesbian, but hey, beggars can't be choosers, right?
They would lose 250% of their audience next weekend if she bows out Mon night. (That's hyperbole ladies, but it would be a SIGNIFICANT number).
It wouldn't shock me if the absolute fix was in. There is WAY too much riding on Clark to carry the flag and advance the dyke sport. They see this as their "Larry and Magic moment". No way she doesn't advance.

Will see if espn cares about their sec affiliation now or want their final four ratings with Clark

Clark is ridiculously good.
That said, has anyone figured out how she consistently gets away with throwing arm bars into defenders to create space?
Also, I wanted her to be a better sport. Her flops and complaints were over the top.

Morrow has to get going if lsu is going to win it all.
Flaujae has been carrying the team.
Someone else is going to have to step up. Van lith or williams.
