Then hopefully they pick LSU/Texas week 2 so I can be at back to back college gameday games. Nice start to the year...(skipping a wedding for this. no shame)
This is a bad way to tell that to your fiance'! Be a man, tell her in person!...

Participation levels at Saints camp this year - The LGBM
I don't post frequently, so excuse me if this is elementary. Are the number of players not participating in practices higher this year than in past years? I think I saw today that 12 players were missing. Maybe this is about average - I do not know, but it seems high. If it is above average,...

Which SEC football coaches dye their hair? - The LGBM
Just saw a recent picture of Nick Saban and his hair looks red, or reddish brown. It made me wonder if maybe he has his hair dyed so he looks younger. Saban is 67 years old and doesn't have a grey hair on his head. Seems quite unlikely. What about Coach Orgeron? Just turned 58 and not a grey ...

re: LSU and the Saints both have a legitimate shot this year - The LGBM
Why must you people bring up the Saints on here? There is a board for that.
So if he were to post it on the Saints board, would you ask the same question about LSU? You do not sound like a Saints fan, and that's cool. But, I don't go crap on your board over a passing reference to...

re: The best game vs each sec opponent - The LGBM
Cannot argue with most of your selections. However, I would take the 2003 SECCG against Georgia as my selection for them. Now, this requires a bit of explanation because my girlfriend (now wife) and I were holed up in a downtown New Orleans hotel. We agreed to have some kind of sex every time...

re: Vandy game time? - The LGBM
Just purchased two tickets and hoping it is a 6:00 PM game. A little cooler than 11:00 AM and maybe a bigger national audience. Never been to Nashville, so really looking forward to seeing the Tigers in that stadium!...

re: 3 SEC Teams in the Playoffs in 2019? - The LGBM
I purposely did not offer the scenario that I think could produce 3 SEC teams in the playoffs until seeing what some posters had to say. Remember, I said it is unlikely, but suppose... Georgia goes undefeated and wins the SECCG. They would be in. Suppose ATM goes undefeated in league play and ...

3 SEC Teams in the Playoffs in 2019? - The LGBM
Thought occurred to me today that there could be 3 SEC teams in the semi-finals this year (OK, not likely, but could be). If that were to happen, who do you think they would be? And how would it play out in the SECCG?...

re: All caps usernames - The LGBM
Well, I'm not sure about others and why they do it, but my handle is an acronym for a nickname my friends call me. So, to give it a true representation of me, I use part of it in all caps. I've never had anyone object to it, FWIW. Cheers, The LGBM...

re: 1982 LSU football looked like a fun season - The LGBM
That Bama game was deeply satisfying. Held them to zero first downs in the first half. When Hilliard ran over that Bama defender, I knew at that moment I would never forget that play. Yes, we retired the Bear that year. After the game he said it might be time to let someone else take the helm, a...
