re: Joe Burrow- Alabama Pre game chant - The LGBM
Rule number 1: Don't piss off Joe Burrow. Rule number 2: Don't hit Joe Burrow very hard cuz it'll piss him off. Refer back to Rule number 1.
 Reminds me of the line from Blazing Saddles about Mongo (the character played by Alex Karras): "Don't shoot him, it'll only p...

re: Who was the best player LSU FBall played against last season? - The LGBM
Great post - really fun to read the responses. My take: at tie between Derrick Brown (Auburn) and that punt returner for Alabama (cannot think of his name right now). That kid can fly. Please keep the responses coming - and think of it as who played best against us. In my mind, that eliminat...

re: it's something we have tremendous control of - The LGBM
hes talking about the process to attack it
Wait, are you saying that the President was saying that the response is under control, not the "outbreak"? I didn't get that at all. I think he was saying the virus was under control. But then yesterday the President said "it's Bad" a...

re: it's something we have tremendous control of - The LGBM
What should I be worried about? Serious question. * maybe a better question...what are you worried about? Paint me a picture.*
Simple, nothing. It is all a media hoax. How many people do you know that have the "virus". I believe Trump - it is under control, whatever "it"...

it's something we have tremendous control of - The LGBM
I am not worried about this. Just yesterday (March 15) the President said: "It's a very contagious virus. It's incredible. But it's something we have tremendous control of". And he has been saying that all along. So why worry?...

re: Jefferson proving it - The LGBM
Speaking of Jets, one thing I really like about him is he never gives up on a play. By this I mean that he is never satisfied with just getting first down yardage and taking an easy way out of bounds or sliding to the ground. He Always went for (and usually got) as much extra yardage as possible. ...

Wait till Mardi Gras day! Guarantee you will see more LSU costumes than ever. And yes, I will be one of them - although it might appear to be a little obscure to the average reveler. :geauxtigers:...

re: One team, one heartbeat, one season, one basement wall! (Pics) - The LGBM
Yea you right!! And judging from your location (NE Pennsylvania) it appears to be a real basement. Down here in New Orleans we have "above-ground" basements! Glad you are a Tiger fan! Very cool basement!...

re: How far do you see this team going in the tourney? - The LGBM
I think the answer depends on whether Charles Manning is back and playing with confidence by tournament time. I just think he adds a dimension at guard that will help Smart get off the floor a bit so Smart can see the game from the bench for a few minutes and get back in and be more effective. Obv...

I was a kid, but I do remember the snow on New Years Eve and I remember the two teams that were to play in the Sugar Bowl on New Years Day. Do you have any recollections of the game and the unique circumstances of snow on the sidelines?...

re: Bear Bryant Stories - The LGBM
My older brother attended the 1964 Sugar Bowl on January 1st at Tulane Stadium in New Orleans. There had been a rare heavy snow in New Orleans on New years Eve. Bama played Ole Miss - they had not played each other that season. My brother (now deceased) went to the game. He told me afterward ...
