They're just trying to save face. Absolute bullshite. They will agree with anything a ref calls as to not make them looking like they run a bad operation.

Poor response from the refs. The middle of defender's torso is pressed again the blockers helmet/face. The defender also mildly pushed off the back of the blocker to gain additional leverage.

I don’t know why coaches even bother with this. The league office will always come up with some kind of bull shite excuse to try to prove they weren’t wrong. It’s pretty much a complete waste of time.
