During the SEC Coaches Teleconference on Wednesday, Brian Kelly was asked about the blocked punt from the South Carolina game that they sent into the league office.

Kelly said they got a response, but ultimately, they "agreed to disagree" on the decision.

As an outside observer who felt like the game was horribly officiated on both sides, and to see the response that Kelly and Beamer both got it seems like the sec officiating office essentially said it’s right cuz we said so now frick off and never bother us again. We can and will throw flags for whatever the frick we feel like and if I say it’s a penalty it’s a penalty

He's right smack dab in middle of framework of center blocker on link below. It's amazing how mega-corporations get away with lying, but if normal people lie/steal/or cheat, they get punished. Accountability.

They're just trying to save face. Absolute bullshite. They will agree with anything a ref calls as to not make them looking like they run a bad operation.

Bad call on both sides

Poor response from the refs. The middle of defender's torso is pressed again the blockers helmet/face. The defender also mildly pushed off the back of the blocker to gain additional leverage.

I don’t know why coaches even bother with this. The league office will always come up with some kind of bull shite excuse to try to prove they weren’t wrong. It’s pretty much a complete waste of time.

Yep, and the outcome wouldn't change even if they say they got it wrong.

Out of curiosity, how many times will the league come back with “yeah we got it wrong”?

If it has, you know it has to be a call that was called wrong against Alabama
