Personal email.. I turned off notifications and indicators and just check it a couple times a week. Clear it out every few months.

My work email is the focal point of my task management system. 99% of work flows through emails, but we task manage as a company with disperate systems...so it's way easier for me to just keep my inbox under control and then update other systems than vice-versa. I usually go through & clear my inbox first thing in the morning and then again at about 3pm.

Zero.

I can’t stand those red numbers. They bother me too much.

None that I care about.

Set up a shopping account 25 years ago for anything i have to create an account for. Get 100+ a day and use rules to trash 90% of them. Highly recommend this.

Personal email is strictly for communicating w other family friends.

Work I get 150 - 200 a day and use rules to weed out what I want to read.

Zero. That would make my anxiety level go through the roof, my anxiety is my best asset when it comes to my career I guess.

And the OP are the types of people that are a PITA to communicate with. You know if you email them nothing will get done. So you have to take time out of your own day to call or text OP because he thinks his time is more valuable.
