Sleep - Dopesmoker
Thurston Moore - Alice Moki Jayne
These are both long - like more than an hour.
The Cure - Carnage Visors
John Frusciante has said this song inspired the riff for Californication.

Explosions in the sky- the earth is a cold dead place. The entire album is post-rock GOATED
Your hand in mine is the most beautiful 8 minutes of music to me

First song that immediately came to my mind, as it's always been a favorite of mine in this type of category:
Metallica - To Live is to Die (I especially love the use of Merlin's quote from Excalibur in the only one quick vocal that happens in this 9 minute journey)
Second song that came to mind. This has always held a special place in my heart for some reason. I adore this song. It opens up with a total of 17 words sung, and then it delivers nearly 2 minutes of gorgeous guitar work to end the song and the album. Masterpiece.
Jesus and Mary Chain - Feeling Lucky

If we’re talking long passages in a song, which Stranglehold would be an example of, there are dozens of examples by Rush, Pink Floyd, and YES that are outstanding.

I am a little concerned about the lack of good musical taste on this board, so:
Jessica - Allman Bros.
Black Napkins - Frank Zappa
Mr. Magic - Grover Washington, Jr.
Tubular Bells - Mike Oldfield
