Thompson went like 0-27 in the CWS before getting a hit so Kling has plenty of time to turn it around

But but his OBP is gooood!!!!

Kling has no business batting lead off. He hasn’t hardly done shite at the plate since he’s been here.

I think he’ll get bumped down this weekend unless he has a great game tomorrow

It doesn’t matter what you or anyone else wants. I’ll leave it to a championship coach that’s the best in the game right now. You probably should get back to living your life and let Jay handle his team.

Jesus Christ man it’s a sports message board. People can express their thoughts and opinions. You should probably get off TD if it upsets you.

if another option presented itself, im sure he would move him. But there really isn't another guy to put there that gives you the same things

I think you are a well below average thread starter. Does this mean we can get your ability to start threads removed?

I don’t see anything wrong with Milam, Neal, Tommy, Travinski, Jones 1-5 in the order

If Kling wasn’t such a good outfielder, he may have been out of the lineup by now. He definitely needs to change things up. His takes look bad, his swings and misses look bad and he seems to let a lot of good pitches go by. I personally think he needs to close his stance a good bit. One of his biggest swing deficiencies is how he pulls off of the ball. He never hits opposite field and he’s very susceptible to any pitch on the outside or pitches that start in the middle and move outside. He will get killed with SEC pitching.

There’s definitely other options.

He is in a sophomore slump, but the problem is he didn’t hit very well as a freshman

Yes I want him leading off ideally. Glad he’s getting these important reps.
