Thompson went like 0-27 in the CWS before getting a hit so Kling has plenty of time to turn it around

Thompson was bottom of the order though

moving Milam to leadoff just puts another hole at the top of the lineup.

if another option presented itself, im sure he would move him. But there really isn't another guy to put there that gives you the same things

Of course there is - Milam. He’s not exactly like Kling, but he would make a good lead off. I’dprefer they try to get Kling going because that speed in the lead off spot is deadly when he gets on.

ETA: Whelp, scratch that.

Nope. I got shite for it the other because of his obp. He’s getting walked and hbp a lot but that will change in sec play. The batting isn’t there. I was told he has good at bats and makes the pitcher throw pitches. Yet his last ab he ran the count full by not moving the bat from his shoulder. Then wiffed on pitch 6.

I’m an LSU fan and want him to hit .350 with a .500 obp. I just haven’t seen anything that would suggest he can do it.

I understand but hbp and walks won’t trump a .240 batting average when we play Florida, Arkansas, Vanderbilt, Texas A&M, or Wake Forest down the line. They will not hit him nor walk him near as much and he’s not getting base hits.

It’s something like 3 for 28 if you go a little further back.

The pitchers on the teams I listed are 10 times better than ndsu, slu, vmi, central Arkansas, niu, stony brook, ull, Texas state and Xavier.

Kling is in his own head now. He needs to sit the next game.
