We are going to India for 2 weeks, this year. Because we are white, we will already attract attention. As a female, not baring skin is recommended.
After reading what I’ve read the past week, you’re nuts

India would be great if they removed all of the Indians

Why? What is one reason to go to that filthy, disease ridden shite hole?

know people from India and they literally say ‘Don’t go to India’
My FIL is from there. He took us there 17 years ago to his home in the south (Kerala) and Delhi. We also went to Jaipur (historic walled city) and Agra (Taj Majal).
It was beautiful and an awesome trip. We never felt unsafe but we had his family with us in Delhi. We had a guide to take us everywhere. Kerala is a Christian state (public signage logo with ”God’s Own Country” on them) If we ever go back, we’d probably skip Delhi as there were times that it was “all eyes on us” when using public transportation… which was about the only time I felt uneasy. Kerala is amazing and from there you can visit Munnar and also the coastal backwaters and rice fields (reminds me of S. LA).

Yesterday another video went viral of a western girl posting from a beach in Bangladesh. She posted herself and then around her. Literally surrounded by dozens and dozens and dozens of men just staring. It was scary as frick.
Some people in the comments posted that to them, it was like seeing a dinosaur. They had heard of western white women and bikinis and laying down on a beach, but have never seen it.

the ones that do get educated either use it to come here and suck up jobs or to scam elderly people online.
The scammers still live in India. The educated ones who come here are often highly educated and usually very good at their jobs. They also go to England quite a bit because it is easy for them to gain admittance to England as a former territory of Great Britain and a current member of the British Commonwealth.
India has a problem with militant Islamists, I suspect a lot of rapes are from that group.

Look up videos of pretty white girls in India. It’s fricking terrifying

They were camping in a region what is similar to the 7th ward of Nola. Get a fricking hotel. It’s 10 American dollars.

India and Egypt are two popular tourist destinations where rape is depressingly common. What a nightmare.

Post that video please.
I was talking to the wife about this last night...I'm not sure what I would do in this situation. If a group of dudes beat me up and raped my wife (presumably) in front of me, as long as they didn't kill me I feel like I would have to try to get my hands on one of them and kill him if I could muster the strength at all to do it. But then where does that leave you...in India arrested for murder? That's arguably a worse position to be in than you were initially. But I don't think I could sit there and do nothing while my wife was defiled like that. I feel so bad for the lady and the man in this situation. It's fricked up no matter how you look at it.

I work at a tech company and one of my buddies that lives in Florida is In India right now auditing one of our call centers
He’s been there two weeks and I was texting with him asking how he liked it and he was telling me how blown away he was with the culture and how nice everything was and how it made the US look like a second world country. No lie
I had to read it two or three times to make sure he wasn’t joking
The only thing I could think of is he is there with the owners of the company so they are probably taking him or showing him only the nicest things and avoiding the slums. He’s in Delhi btw

One of this years Oscar nominees for best documentary showcases these situations in India. It's called To Kill a Tiger. It's about a dad seeking justice for his young daughter that was gang raped. Brutal story and really goes to show how broken their society is regarding these issues.

It's the area he was in; nice there, but turns into a shithole rapidly.
I don't know anyone that has any real-lfe experience that thinks the US is second to India in anything.
They all sure as hell want to come here.

Exactly. Line forms to the left leaving India for the US but not so much the other way around

I’ll never understand why people travel to that shithole India.

That’s just crazy. Why call attention to yourself in a foreign country. Especially in places like that. When something happens, it’s not surprising.
