So is all the new LED lighting going to come from scoreboards? Or are they going to replace the lights on top of the upper decks?

LSU should hire lostinbr to fix the sound system

I know enough to confidently identify the problem. Actually fixing the problem is something else entirely.

The “best” way to do it (distributed sound) is complicated for an outdoor stadium and designing it is, unfortunately, beyond my level of expertise.

Whenever I passed by Sunday they had new light poles laying around the stadium, one under each existing light on the top deck. So I'm assuming they are replacing the lights on the top deck with LEDs

I don’t think anyone at LSU has said it’s impossible either.

It’s 100% possible, the question (as always) is how much it costs.

So are they taking the north Endzone scoreboard down entirely or about to make that thing a big arse rectangle with a screen?

Wish there was some renderings

I may be mistaken but when they added the new screen in 2011ish, it was the largest HD screen in college football. The static ads are dumb in my opinion and why not put the adds on the structure itbself if they are a must idk.

The “new” north scoreboard and screen they put in around the 2011 season was already outdated the second they turned it on.

Outdated and poorly designed.

The best tech doesn’t matter if 60% of the screen space is used for ads.

There is no reason to keep static signage of SEC/national championships on the scoreboard. I really wish they’d get rid of the static sponsorship throughout the SEZ and replace with another ribbon board.

Looks like they're keeping the old structure and speaker housing right?

The article says Tiger Stadium has been home to 2 Heisman Trophy winners. I thought for sure we have had 3.

I wonder why the radio silence from LSU on this? Usually they provide renderings for even minor upgrades.
