LSU Athletics is proud to announce its year-long celebration of 100 Years in Tiger Stadium, highlighted by stadium upgrades, events, storytelling initiatives, and a season-long celebration throughout the 2024 campaign.

highlighted by stadium upgrades

I'd say LSU idea of Upgrades are more on the lite side... (Except for the Luxury Upgrades in the Suites)

Then we get the ribbon light show for the Fans in the bowl , a few more restroom soap hand dispensers and painting of the PVC Pipes. That's what LSU calls Upgrades in TS.

I wish they could figure out a way to improve the audio system.

This all day long. That is the worst. I sit in the lower bowl and I can almost understand what they are saying. Almost.

I know they have basically said it's impossible, but man I wish they could figure out a way to improve the audio system.

I'd probably never find it again but there was a pretty insightful post in a thread a year or two ago where a guy talked about the acoustical challenges of making the audio functional within the stadium.

If it doesn't come with a sound system you can actually hear what is said, they better put a Jerry Jones screen up there bc the sound is trash.

If it were up to me there would be no new NEZ Video Board. Watch the game on the field!! That’s the point of going to the game. If you want to watch it on a screen stay home you halftime in route to home fake fans.

I just hope they get rid of the stupid "Coca Cola" logo above the screen and below the tiger head. That sport should say "Tiger Stadium". Besides the "Welcome to Death Valley" sign in the SEZ, we don't have a sign that says Tiger Stadium inside the stadium.

They should update their site.

Tiger Stadium, one of America’s most iconic sporting venues, first opened its gates on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 1924. Since then, the Tigers have won 450 contests in Death Valley, which has been home to two Heisman Trophy winners, four national championship teams, and 12 SEC title-winning squads.

I’m pretty sure someone on here mentioned that it was going to be the size of Auburn’s newer scoreboard.

I’d be interested how it would structurally sit atop NEZ if it were going to be that big.

It would be cool as hell if it curved with stadium and wrapped around from east to west. I’ll wait to bitch that it won’t be ready in time.

Could we also get a price reduction for celebrating 100 years. These fees are killing us. I really don't need flashing lights to let me know that LSU scored.

Yes they are. They’re just a subsidiary of United Healthcare now. UHC purchased them several years ago.
