Yes
Absolutely love the place.
They have a good bbq sandwich, texas cheesesteak burrito, some hot sauces I like, gifty shite for my nieces, and I love the positive vibe.
Seriously their bbq sandwich is better than many vaunted bbq joints that have been coasting for years. We're looking at you, The Shed.

I'm not that close, but the one in Richmond is about 40 miles from me. We went once. Spent $110 and didn't buy gas, so I might go down there once a year, maybe, but the last 3 times I drove past it, I didn't stop.
Brisket sandwich was like $12 and that was 2 years ago.

I don’t, but my teenager often drops in/hangs out there with friends. Kind of like how one might hang out at Sonic if you grew up in a small town.
Better than what I was doing on the weekend when I was her age.

Dropping in and out on my way to Dallas isn't a long drawn out process honestly. I feel like those here who complain about the crowds have only been while traveling to or from the redneck riviera on a weekend or on the 4th of July. Am I wrong? Buc-ees in Texas isn't hard to conquer.
Yeah the one in Denton I’ve been in and out of in five minutes multiple times. Park right in front too.

Or about 2 beers.

i'm 2 miles from the one in Temple, TX. i only ever go if i'm low on gas headed northbound on 35. even then, i'd rather make it to Waco or Hillsboro if i can.
i never ever go outside of that.

Live close to the one near Orange Beach. If it is during daytime hours, I will not go to it between spring break and Labor Day. After that, it can still be a little busy on the weekends, but manageable.
About a year after it opened, my son and I went to it on a Sunday in July. I kid you not we were stuck there for an hour in the circle of cars around the building. They had concrete barriers trying to funnel cars along a designated path, and once you turned into the parking lot, you were trapped until you got to the other side.

We've never lived close enough but it has always been a road trip stop. Plenty of gas stations near us for about the same price and we often aren't getting snacks for week to week trips.

Experiencing a Buc-cee's in Texas and a Buc-cee's outside of Texas are different.

For the life of me, I can’t understand the bitching about this. I have never waited or been annoyed by “traffic” at a Bucees. I’m not really sure what yal are referring to as traffic.
I think the majority of posters have only been to the Orange Beach Express location... which on certain days and times can have an almost unfathomable amount of traffic.
I think this is partly due to location and partly due to the layout... it was the first one outside of TX and the first one I'm aware of that was built in an area without feeder roads. They learned their lesson and the ones built since then are much easier to get in and out of.

I tried to stop at the one west of Houston this past hunting season, and there wasn't a single open pump. had to leave. and this was around 10 am on a random Wednesday. I can't imagine anyone living around that one and going just b/c it's a Buc-ees.

Whenver I go in the morning, I tell myself I'm going to go the back counter and get a kolache.
But I never, ever make it past the brisket breakfast burritos in the middle stand.

There's one about 20 miles away from us, in Leeds Alabama. I wouldn't make a special trip for Buc-ees, but any time we go up to the outlet mall there, maybe 3-4 times a year, we'll take the kids to Buc-ees afterwards and get gas.

The one in Alabama in the summer is a complete motherfricker.
And I love Buccees

I go occasionally. Love the Jalapeno, sausage, and cheese kolache.

I live about 20 minutes away from the one near World Golf Village in Florida. If we go to the Costco right across the street from Bucee's I will stop in an get a boudin stuffed pork tenderloin but other than stopping a few times on the way to surfing I don't go that much. It's like Disneyworld and Walmart rolled into a huge arse gas station.

I used to stop about once a week before I started working remote full-time. Now I go when my kids visit 3 or 4 times a year. This location is in Denton, TX and although the traffic may look bad, it flows pretty well in and out.

I've been 3 times since the one in Auburn opened.
