It is sad you think Trump is going to be reelected. How gullible can you be?

this can't be, she got some diversity racial queen award and said she would keep fighting until orange man goes to prison. because orange man is bad.
orange man should file a discrimination defamation charge against orange people.

In what way are these not "real" convictions? At least 3 of them were lawyers
After what we’ve all witnessed over the last 4 years with LE going after Trump and anyone in his orbit….including what recently happened in NY….with all sorts of bullshite allegations….you’ll have to forgive us for not seeing any of these plea deals as anything more than trying to get out of the way before being bankrupted by FedCo.
PARTICULARLY, after watching Dem after Dem skate in much more serious “oversights” because of reasons.
With all of the corruption in DC, I can not remember ever seeing such an organized legal assault from multiple angles against any politician ever….especilly a presidential candidate. It’s chilling.

Thoughts on what I posted a page back about a motion to dismiss based on prosecutorial misconduct?

Removing the prosecutor doesn't mean the underlying case disappears.
They had to hire a personal injury lawyer to prosecute the case. No other lawyer with a shred of professional dignity would touch that case. The scheme was the white house paid them basically to commit exactly what you see, professional suicide.
They're done

It theoretically could, but that's largely irrelevant. Trump winning the election shouldn't prevent GA from prosecuting him.
It obvious these charges are bullshite already, do you think the state would be interested in continuing such a hoax?
He'll win on appeal anyway, why would GA want to continue the bad publicity?

This should at least open the door for the judge to review the text messages *in camera* that were supposed to occur this week.

I think we know why he got the contract.

Their suicide had literally nothing to do with the merits of the case, good or bad.
It's just your typical political funding grift for friends and family. She got her side piece work and publicity.

It's almost like Big Fani and Wade thought the Bureaucratic State Skunks in DC were going to cleanup their communication footprints.

I doubt that would survive unless some REALLY incriminating texts came up. Even then, the convictions give a basis of legitimacy they can always lean on.

It's slips like this that let us in on the fact that they are not some sort of omniscient unbreakable well oiled machine that a lot people seem to fear they are.

Very true words. And there are many, many such instances, however a good number of folks fail to acknowledge them.

I think this decreases the chance of this big federal conspiracy in the first place.
No way the Biden admin would not have vetted this simple fact.
This is just plays out like your typical government grift rather than this huge conspiracy.

I disagree. They've probably got so many tentacles out there trying to get a hold on this stuff, there will be plenty of unvetted "simple facts" that slip through.

Probably could have another DA take them up but they were always bullshite charges and Willis’ pet project. Hopefully nobody else is deranged enough to carry this torch.
There's only about 4 more counties in Georgia capable of taking on the case. 99% don't have the human and financial resources. One of those, maybe Clayton county, has already declined so that only leaves 2-3 with the necessary capabilities. As of now, not one of those 2-3 have voiced a will to pursue it.

They won't.
The prosecutor appointed to replace her office may not be as excited to proceed, however.
There is a whole new set motions that will be filed if the judge rules against Fani. First will be to nullify the grand jury because it tainted by the same ethics or Fani and Wade. If the argument is they are profiting from the trial, well the grand jury was the impetus for the trial so it to is open for question.

No sane person would be willing to step into this mess after all this. Hopefully every other option declines.

its no coincidence that every prosecutor on trump's cases are either corrupt or incompetent.
