Cash obviously has speed but also must be much better at catching the ball and pass pro than the other guys.

There's not a soul on the face of the earth that will ever convince me Cash was a better option than Dillon Bell on any down he ever played. Dillon is bigger, faster, taller, more powerful, and a better receiver before and after the catch which makes CJ's presence completely bewildering to me.

Kirby is playing the middle of Dabo and Cignetti.

Shades more towards Dabo but should be shading towards Cignetti.

Bingo.
he would toss Bobo out on his head and offer the checkbook to Monken on bended knee. A universally accepted truism in business is you don’t hire friends or family. You absolutely must be able to remain emotionally detached from business decisions for any hope of longevity and productivity. IMHO Kirby’s broken this rule to perhaps his own detriment. What made Saban Saban was his strict adherence to excellence damn the cost or who got their feeling hurt. I can’t see him ever hiring his BFF, but I can certainly see him firing him if the product standard dipped one millimeter. People are their own worst enemy and Kirby is not exempt from that either.

Maybe we can recruit another just like him for 3rd downs next year. Doubtful, given unicorns like that difficult to find. Or maybe he will forego the draft and petition the NCAA for another year. Bobo wouldn’t have to change a thing…..not that he ever does. Well I retract that. I was wrong. He does adjust from his 3 plays that don’t work to his 3 that do and it usually only takes him about 3 series to do so. Once the new 3 are stopped it’s back to the original 3 that didn’t. He’s flexible like that.
Don't sweat it. Just consider the source. Their internet persona reveals their emotional maturity as clear as day every. single. time. Their shenanigans remind me of being back on the playground in 7th grade. Sad part is they are undoubtedly adults.

We e been had.

That's obvious. The only question that remains is was it at conception or the result of childhood trauma. Nature or Nurture? :pimp:

When have I ever said Kirby has to go?

Pretty sure only one person has said that the entire season. Can't remember who it was, but maybe during the Bama game. Now everyone who is or ever has been critical of the coaching is hit with the accusation. Don't sweat it. It's not like these guys have any allegiance to the truth what-so-ever and you can't refute their lies as fast as they can spin them.

Starting a thread to demand that Georgia's football coach fix the problems you perceive; that's about as clear as it can get.

errrr.....ahhhh. Not one to point out the obvious, but I didn't start this thread. In fact I was perfectly content to simply peruse it until I noticed you mentioned my username in a swipe. Maybe you should wait until you grow up or sober up as you're obviously confused about the topic, who started it, and apparently the difference between reality and delusion.

See above post and point out the lies please. I'll sit back and wait.

winning is what Kirby Smart does better than anyone else in the business

Over the last 2 years
Kirby is 23-5
Lanning is 26-2
Cignetti is 25-2
Day is 26-4

Tell me more about these 'lies' you speak of.

There is only winning and not winning. The rest are just words.

Yep and right now Steve Sarkisian, Ryan Day, Marcus Freeman, Mario Cristobal, Curt Cignetti, Dan Lanning Pete Golding, and James Franklin have more Semifinal appearances than Kirby.

Those are the facts. The cult can call me what they like. It doesn't change the facts one iota. Give me truth over an army of lies any day and twice on Sunday.

You and SemperFiTroll can explain Kirby's bad decisions to his face

quote:

"We had a misfire there," Smart said. "The ball was not supposed to be snapped in that situation. That's on us as coaches."

Quite the quandary for those who worship at Kirby's feet. You hold him up as infallible, but he says he isn't. So is he right even when he's wrong, wrong even when he's right, both, or neither? Don't get angry. These are the positions you are obliged to defend when you chose blind allegiance to anything.

Your act is tired

Well I won't stop until everyone is on the Bobo train no matter how tiring it becomes.
quote:

And he had coached some damn near masterpieces this season.

Yep. Whatever "it" is, Bobo has it in spades.
quote:

Not sure we can afford another Cash Jones and I'm certain Bobo's offense can't function without one like him. Third down specialist with his size and skill set don't come along every day. You'd have more luck finding another Brock Bowers

Cash Jones is the reason for one of the very few touchdowns tonight and had some huge plays

Bingo. Exactly what I'm saying.

Yep. There's a reason Monkey is on the market again and Bobo isn't.
Yep and we won the 'real' Championship, the SECCG, anyway right? Everything else is just pomp and circumstance.
