I am in central FL. There are many 55+ communities where the primary mode of transport is a golf cart. They don't impede traffic on busy roadways and cops leave them alone. They go to restaurants, hardware and grocery stores that are close to their house.
If you are a dick to a cop, you are getting a ticket, every time, if it is within his power.

A Cop blue lighted me about 1/10th of a mile from my house one time. I pulled into my driveway and he pulled right in there with me. It sucks, but there's nothing you can do. Acting like an a-hole will just end badly.

I had one catch me a quarter mile from home when I was about to crap my pants. Pulled in to my driveway behind me. I handed him my license and said can I please go take a shite I'm about to crap myself. He laughed and said sure. Gave me a warning when I came out.

That was a really dumb reason to get arrested. Give the man your license and be done with it.
Here, they managed to turn a warning citation into a double arrest bc he and his moron wife can't close their mouths and reasonably comply.

If these rich folks don't like getting pulled over for driving golf carts on the road, then move out of St Lucie and move to BR. Here you can ride 4 wheelers, dirt bikes, and slingshots on the interstate... maybe cut some donuts in the middle of an intersection at 3am, etc. And the cops won't do shite.
