It’s really scary how this black couple has to be bullied by police everyday like this.

only one of those is a dangerous menace to road traffic that goes over 20mph and its not the golf cart

I see no problem with the cop arresting them. The couple put him in that position. He couldn't have the guy just refuse to provide his ID when asked and then do nothing about it.

I'm not a big fan of dick cops, but that guy acted like an entitled a-hole. He apparently discovered that he could be arrested just like anyone else.

Charges were likely one count of being an a-hole and one count of accessory to being an a-hole.

How stupid do you have to be to not understand the difference between a gold cart and cars/trucks/semi's etc....on a main road for automobile traffic?
by your fricked up logic, he should be able to hop on the interstate in his golf cart.
man the OT never ceases to amaze me at the level of stupidity some of you have. you can believe in police overstep, but have the common sense to understand accountability. the guy knew he fricked up, but fricked around - and found out he didn't know shot.

The guy was a loser, but I can't imagine being a tax collecting traffic cop. How do you go home and look at yourself in the mirror?

A friend who was a State Trooper here once told me, "If the guy has already made his decision, you'll never talk him out of a ticket. But if he hasn't, you can sure as hell talk yourself into one."

It’s because a large portion of people here ride their golf carts on the road, illegally, and relate to the guy driving his golf cart and they don’t want any smoke so they are projecting.

There’s about a 90% chance the cop wouldn’t have even written him a ticket if he had just been polite, shown ID, and said something like, “damn, I didn’t realize I couldn’t do that, I won’t do it again.” I just can’t imagine thinking the cop was the douche in this situation when this guy doubles down on stupid.
