So if during the altercation the man had produced a gun and fired on the cop, and the cop returned fire and killed him, would you say, "man murdered by police because he drove golf cart on road"?

About a year ago I blew through a red light, I saw the red light but my mind was elsewhere. Moments later I saw blue lights behind me, so I pulled over. The cop gets out of his car and approaches my vehicle, this is what comes next:
Cop: Do you know why I pulled you over?
Me: I ran a red light.
Cop: That's correct sir, did you not see the red light?
Me: I did, but I had my head up my arse and blew right through it.
Cop: *laughs*, Ok, I appreciate the honesty. I need to see your DL and registration.
Me: Ok *hands the officer what he asked for.
Cop walks back to his patrol car, comes back about 2-3 minutes later with what I thought was a ticket in hand. It was a warning
Cop says "be more careful next time, enjoy your day".
Just try to get along with cops, a lot of times you'll walk/drive away with just a warning. Or, you can just be a dick and take a chance on getting arrested for something unrelated to why he/she pulled you over in the first place.

Curious, if he had a garage door opener and pulled inside and shut the garage and never answered his front door - what could the cop do? They can’t bust door down. A judge would never grant them permission to bust door down. Just wondering

And if the cop was killed his son could show off his fathers medal of honor fir being killed in the line of duty stopping a golf cart.

And anyone who thinks they can drive a golf cart anywhere they want might get in trouble. It didn't have to do that far, the guy was just not complying bc he saw some video of his "citizens rights" and didn't have to comply. He didn't watch the whole video.
