Asked him about Tucker interviewing Putin and why it was different than when other journalists did. He proceeded to call me stupid and said he made a new years resolution to not tolerate stupidity.

Dude used to be super conservative, but I guess 15 years working for the government will turn the best of them.

I told him he sure has gotten a lot less tolerant now that he joined the party of tolerance.

Some quicker than others but 15 years behind the curtain tends to lead one to vote and think solely of their best interests... being a government employee those interests tend to lean very left...

Write him off as a friend cause he is an enemy to America.

A friendship based on only being agreeable to everything is not really a true friendship.

In the long run doesn’t sound as if you will have lost too much.

Doesn't sound like he was much of a friend to begin with.

Sad to see friendships end over politics. I try to avoid discussing politics with family or friends and never have issues.

Your response should be: 'Give me a reason why I'm wrong.'
If he does, then respond with your arguments.
If he refuses, then say 'Ah, you're too stupid to support your position.'

IRL debates with liberals are a lot of fun. My philosophy has always been...
'Everyone has a right to their opinion. But if you can't defend it then your opinion is worthless shite.'

that was 100% a one-sided friendship and he didnt feel the same, at least you found out now rather than at a time you need to depend on him for something

Tucker isn't a journalist.

Fox News again moved to dismiss. The motion argues that when read in context, Mr. Carlson's statements "cannot reasonably be interpreted as facts"

Are you kidding? I know a lot of career civil servants in Louisiana who are conservative.

I don't think opposing Tucker doing the interview is tantamount to being a liberal. However his reaction to you is lame as hell and more in line with modern leftists.

I have worked in education almost 30 years and believe me it is difficult to keep a level head around all these loons! I was raised a conservative and have remained a conservative throughout my tenure.

I find it hard to believe that working for the government, whether in education or another field doesn't make you turn towards conservatism when you see all the waste and sheer stupidity that happens every day. There is really no way to rationalize some of the decisions made by those in charge.
I just try and do the best job I can do in spite of those in charge. Luckly, retirement is right around the corner!

Since Trump was elected, I've had DOZENS of "oh so tolerant liberal friends" and some relatives that blocked me on facebook. So far, I've not blocked anyone. I love arguing with them because I have facts on my side.

He is gone buddy, let him go.

Lots of people like your friend are weak bleeding hearts that don’t see what’s happening and could care less the fabric of the country is being destroyed one seam at a time.

I have a friend at work who is a black democrat religious CNN watcher and we argue all the time about politics. We both enjoy the discussion with no hard feelings. It’s been a little bit refreshing TBH.

I told him today, until you accept that mainstream media is an arm of the democrat party there’s no hope for him.

There are always those "men" who make the long walk away from the Light of individual liberty to the DARK maternalism of State coercion and control. The Nanny State appeals to those who need a nanny. These are usually man-boys who can no longer get an erection if their wife's boyfriend isn't in the room. Take him to Vegas, give him a cialis and get him laid, preferably by a woman with big blonde hair and enormous breasts, and he stands a 50-50 shot of regaining his senses.
