Blue Plate is the only one I’ll eat and definitely the only mayo allowed in my house.

Dukes is the right answer and has been for a while.

I find Dukes is better for needing mayo for a mix, dip, additive while Blue Plate is good for sandwiches.

I keep both Blue Plate and Dukes in my fridge.

I’m a fan of Kenji, but he’s wrong. Kewpie is the only way to go.

Spicy mayo (Sriracha and Kewpie) is legit.

Growing up, we always had Kraft in the fridge. Now I tend to buy Hellman’s, Duke’s or Blue Plate, whichever is cheaper/on sale.

FWIW: America's Test Kitchen (Kenji's old employer) liked Blue Plate best.

Not gonna lie, I really like the Tabasco mayo (not mentioned) when not using traditional mayo.

My two favorites 1&2. Used to be a Kraft guy, but we are firmly a Duke’s family now.

first off, Miracle Whip is not mayo, so throw it in the trash, and then start the list over

I grew up with Dukes and my wife grew up with Blue Plate and while she said she liked Dukes better when she moved to the Carolinas I always assumed they were very similar and she was saying that just to be nice and we couldn't get Blue Plate up here anyway. When we built the camp I grabbed some Blue Plate and was utterly disappointed it was just so bland in comparison. We started using Kraft in LA and actually like it better than Dukes for some recipes (ones you want to taste "lighter").

I think it has a lot to do with what you grew up with. Like I can't imagine someone not buying Heinz ketchup but there have to be people that buy Hunts and prefer it.

When you go to a restaurant and get a burger, do you ask what kind of mayo they use, and refuse to eat it if it isn't Blue Plate? In reality I bet you can't tell one from the other.

Those all suck. Primal Kitchen mayo is the best.
