Not sure about Vivek yet, but I'd go for 4 years of Trump followed by 8 years of either DeSantis or Abbott. The jury is still out on Vivek in my estimation.

This brings up an interesting point. I think if Trump wins 2024, you're sacrificing 2028 and 2032 to the Dems. Is that worth it to you guys?

No. We have a massive government that spends and spends no matter who is in power, and we have a society that continues to decline morally. Neither will do much to shrink the government and neither can control the decline of society.
My hope with Republican candidates for Congress or President is that they will just avoid enacting more stupid policies.

No. Stop thinking we need to control the center. As it stands today the changing of R to D, D to R is just a mess of E.O. signing to cancel the previous guy's edicts and put some new ones in place.
