Actually college athletes (at least I know for D1) aren’t allowed to make any sports wagers at all on any sports at all whether they are 21 or not.
NCAA mandate
I know. I was a D1 athlete during the time sports betting started blowing up a few years ago. All I'm saying is that there are probably more student athletes that bet than those that don't (at least on the men's side of things).

If he was "acting as a bookie" as you suggested, it's certainly possible.
All the gambling sites/apps require you to submit your SSN and/or license info to verify your identity. Kayshon wasn't 21 when it happened. Quite possibly he had a friend/family member use his payment info to make bets.
The issue we have is there's no that Kayshon averaged 22 bets PER DAY over a 13 month period. It's entirely possible more players were involved in this.

So who we got for the LSU All Pro Prison Team?
Jamarcus Russell at QB
Cecil Collins at RB
Kayshon Boutte at WR
It's shaping up to pretty stout team.

Yet you will continue to watch and support it right?
Call me a hypocrite but it’s not like we have much say in the matter.
There’s lots of personal memories & tradition tied to LSU sports for me. I’m kind of just hanging on & hoping for some positive change as the new landscape settles in.

The end zone drop against FSU is interesting now

So I don't have to read through this thread, how, it at all, does this affect LSU? Vacate wins of games he played in?

He’s trash. I really hope this doesn’t come back to hurt LSU

OR.
Maybe the family who were assisting with the account were also placing bets.
Insane thought I know.
It’s amazing how y’all always jump to the worst possible conclusion

What about this makes him a "thug"?
btw it's defined as "a violent, aggressive person, especially one who is a criminal."
I must've missed the part where he assaulted someone in all of this; unless that's not what you meant by it

How many family members are placing bets? the average 22 / day betting is based on if someone placed bets every single day. It's more likely that bets were done way ahead of time and placed in a much higher volume.
If it's truly someone acting as a bookie and taking bets every day 24/7, then you have a system in place that multiple people were using.

If he bet on us, idgaf.
If he bet or took points against us, what a POS. Deserves to be made an example ala Pete Rose if that is the case.
That doesn't make any sense. There was never a finding that Pete Rose ever bet against his own team. No one should be betting on their own team no matter the outcome.

His first interview on Jordy, Boutte talked only about what money LSU could give him. Nothing about team at all.
