Keeping Underwood is a lot more important, so losing Sloan would be foolish if it means we lose the #1 QB

I think it's because most of us don't want him if it means we will lose Sloan.

This guy stuck it to CBK twice. Once when he stayed at ND and then again when he goes to his biggest competitor. I don’t think he’s really that “in” to Coach’s path.

BK gave him a huge opportunity, but it was understandable he stayed at ND. Then he chose to leave to coach under Saban.

I’d take Rees over Sloan as a schemer and play caller

You need to seriously shut the frick up. With that statement, you just confirmed you are a complete non-football-knowing idiot

Not if it means risking losing a once-in-decade QB. Fortunes rise and fall on who starts at that position. Can’t agree with you

You unfortunately do make moves based around keeping the possible generational talent at QB.

I keep in seeing everybody talking about Sloan, what incentive is there to not announce him if he’s the choice?

What convinced you Rees was a great OC?

The 24 points vs Arkansas, Texas and Ole Miss?
The 26 and 27 point outings vs aggie and Auburn?
17 points vs USF?

As an analyst if Bama fires him, sure.
He’s not gonna be OC at LSU.

If BK gave the OC job to Rees, it would pretty much guarantee we lose Sloan and Hankton, and Bryce Underwood as well.

I never said he was. But compared to Sloan I’d say a lot of big time coaches believe this, which is why he’s been OC at places like ND and Bama at age 31 and Sloan called plays 1 yr at LaTech and is 38

What about the Wake Forest OC - Warren Ruggiero?

Wonder if Sloan is being pursued for any OC positions?

I'm not saying lsu should hire Rees, but he isn't terrible. He is a good young oc and qb coach.

He will get another top oc job. Both kelly and Saban wanted him as their oc.
