Kelly is making major moves

I don’t think he leaves something as important as play calling up to Sloan with the hope it works out

His main guy Rees is on the market and has a year of experience in the SEC now

Seems obvious

Sloan called the bowl game and it looked fine.

What makes Rees his "main guy"?

People are afraid to admit it that Rees will be the OC hire.

This is Kelly’s offense. Sloan shows the same promise Reese did at ND under Kelly

I think we roll with Co-OCs and throw money on the defensive side of the ball for another grand slam hire for DB coach

Kelly can’t afford to take a chance on another position coach after House. LSU needs an experienced play caller

House was a DC at two different spots before he was hired at lsu.

First half was very conservative. And it was a 7-5 Big ten team. Couldn’t run the ball

Believed in his enough to hire him at a young age to run the offense at ND. Tried to bring him to LSU as first option.

You don’t make moves based on 1 unsigned 17yo kid

Who said he won’t keep Sloan?

If Kelly is the HC we all hope he is, the OC role at LSU is like the previous DC role under Saban. Any young up and coming offensive coach can come in to learn the system, develop into a full blown OC and move onto his next role out from underneath his mentor! That was why CEO was a problem…he didn’t really know either side of the ball when it came to calling X’s & O’s. If CBK needs an experienced OC then we will never develop into the juggernaut we all hope LSU can become.

Except that Saban’s best run was with Kirby at DC. Kelly should hire the best OC he can get.

Rees is the most overrated OC in modern history. No.

KEEP REES THE frick AWAY

He brings nothing and I'd much rather see how Sloan does.

Before he became the Bama DC he was a young inexperienced coach….look at his resume. His career path is exactly what I said I wanted CBK to copy. A young up and coming coach to train under the master!
