I’ve seen a lot of homeless families of migrants here in Denver. I don’t understand why they would come here. It’s fricking freezing. Is Mexico really worse than having your family homeless and freezing in the US?

Seems like your dislike for this is directed at the illegal immigrants. I don't blame them one bit for coming to where the government will just hook them up. If it has to be in the US, send them to big cities in heavily blue states
NYC, LA, SF, Portland, Seattle, Chicago, Hartford, Boston are all good choices.
But, I'd also recommend overwhelming some of the smaller towns like Buffalo, Albany, San Luis Obispo, Tacoma, etc.

Honolulu is another great choice!! Another democrat voting city that loves democrat policies. The migrants would love the big city, weather, and beaches. Would love to see 50k from Venezuela and Africa brought there this year to increase diversity. A win win situation for sure.

Boston should be #1 simply because they're left wing and their view of the average immigrant (legal or illegal) is some foreign diplomats college-aged kid or grad student at one of Bostons top colleges.
They have no clue the burden of unskilled illegal immigrants pouring into your city because they've only experienced the most accomplished and resourced immigrants.
They need a taste of what the border states have experienced for decades.

We need to talk about NYC. We need to remember that NYC is made up of, what is it, six cities, and only one has had a dump. Where are the Brooklyn, Yonkers, Bronx etc dumps. All those voters need their reward.
The state of Delaware also deserves a thank you for Bidening up the situation. Three counties to fill. Then lets fill up Rhode Island and the rich counties in Connecticut next to NYC.
