Penix didn't have what it takes to put the team on his back.

Thank you Jaden and great hopes for your future.

Yeah. This should shut up the talking heads that said Penix should have the Heisman after beating Texas.

He’s thrown in to coverage a few times. Finally didn’t get away with it.

I really think he will pan out in the NFL, but the constant overrating him because he played a weak Texas secondary and his OL held up Texas's pass rush got silly.

Penix struggled several times this year. With the WR corps he had, he should have had 50 TD passes easily.

24 of his 35 TD passes came in the first 8 games, and technically, all those came in 6 games. In two of those first 8, he didn't score any TDs. Take somebody like heisman Daniels for instance. In his first 8 games he had 25 TD passes. Outside of that first game where he only had 1 TD pass (blame that on the WRs), he had at least 3 TD passes in every other game in that span. Two of those games he only played a half in, and 2 more of those games he barely played in the 4th quarter. His final four games he had 15 pass TDs.

Think about what I just stated, PASS TDS! I didn't mention ANY of his rushing numbers. That shows you the vast difference. Caleb Williams also fell off after his first 7-8 games.

Drinks and dunks , dropped passes, overthrown and no big strikes. -5 yards running, not very Heisman like

Awful game. Missing wide open guys for TDs and was throwing behind guys all night.

I think he lost a lot of money in the draft tonight.

Dude the fact you're spelling his name "Jaden" twice shows me how much you know about the team and him

Bama played them much better than Washington. Bama looked they were going to win until Milroe had that crazy fumble with 12 minutes to go and that horrible execution at the end.

I really didn’t watch him until his last 3 games of the year (Oregon, Texas, Michigan).

Solid QB, but he’s nothing like JD5. Silly talk saying it’s even close.

I didn't need any further justification. Their respective seasons spoke for themselves. Daniels is better, and has always been the better football player.

Penix has an arm but his health isn't there. He will not last long in the pros.

Also because Jayden played against better competition during the year. We sw what happened when Pennix played against a real defense.

Jaden could have made any of the final four teams a Champion, as well as Georgia. Probably a few others as well.

Penix and Nix were both really good QB's and ran their offenses very well. Where JD stood out was how consistently very or really good he was every single game. Both of the others had really good games, but several mediocre games against lesser defenses than what JD faced

I think he lost a lot of money when he blew his knee out twice in two years. I actually think the guy will make a fine pro. But any team that drafts him is walking on a razor's edge with his injury history.
