And there is significant strife and division between French and English Canadians. And between Canadians and immigrants.
Like I said...it's a fine country. Probably the most "American" country out there other than America. But it's not without its challenges, vulnerabilities, and handicaps. Even if you don't recognize that, all Americans should look down on them for still having the Queen on their money.

Correct. Canada is banking on real estate to prop up its wealth. In doing so, those born in Canada are doing worse than those they are importing.
1/4 of Canada's population was born overseas.

Do not compare the US to Canada anymore. Canada is a complete dumpster fire economically with an absolutely insane housing market. This is one of craziest graphs I've ever seen.

Conservatives have opened up like a 20% point lead in the polls because of how mad people are at the governing liberals.
They're vaunted healthcare system is broken and it's impossible to get to a doctor unless your seconds away from dying.
15 years ago you could make an argument that life in Canada was better in some ways not anymore. It's broken and most young people want to move to the states.
You won't hear this from our media, who have spent the last 15-20 years building Canada up as a better alternative to the USA but head on over the Canadian subreddit. It's nothing but anger and chaos there.

I feel like more people bitch about everything not going their way rather than trying to do anything about anything. Just blame it on the politician or the government as a whole, or some other excuse. There are plenty of well off teenagers in this country. Whether they are selling their tits online, or promoting a product on Instagram, or taking their side hustle to a full on company. But the 40 and up crowd, just complains that everyone is getting lucky and continue to work their 8-5. I fall into the second category as my side hustle has not blown up like my birthday wish will allot me.

Much of rural Canada is rotting. All of their efforts have gone into importing people into the cities. Kind of a Canadian ponzi scheme.
A welfare state with massive immigration doesnt bode well for the people who were born in Canada. Good luck trying to find service outside the cities, people just arent working.
