Nuclear plants should be built all over the world but instead
You know the Rockefellers funded anti-nuclear environmentalists groups starting in the '60s?
The real threat to O&G chemical energy is nuclear energy.

Bike tires are made with oil
All the plastic is made with oil. The compressed air is produced with oil. Lubrication for the moving parts of the bike is made with oil.
(Horses): The feed for horses is produced with fossil fuels.
(Walking): Shoes, motherfrickers.
Virtually everything in modern society requires oil/fossil fuels from the design through the manufacture, delivery, maintenance and ultimately disposal/recycling.
These greenies would be shocked at just how little their modern lives does not require fossil fuels (or otherwise petroleum products in some way). It's virtually 0%.

I saw a old co-worker of mine while out Christmas shopping. We both agreed that we should catch up... Have lunch. We never will, but it sounded good

None of them did. They’re just in on the globalist grift.

Camels, which are apparently transportation AND sexual fulfillment in some parts of the world.

There is a classic Dilbert where Dilbert points this out to a green idiot. The guy ends up walking around naked and thinking he may need to readjust his thoughts a bit.

It is certainly what Russia felt about Germany going green, especially if you know much history, especially WWII.
Germans have a lot of some resources (coal) and little of others (petroleum). Hence a lot of their war aims were to do what they could to secure more.
Stalingrad in particular was an attempt to grab the various oil producing areas of the Caucasus to feed the war machine because, to that point, they were dependent on Romania for oil.
As a professor put it to me once, “you can get an idea of how much Romanian oil there is by the number of Romanian oil sheikhs in casinos around the world.”
Voluntarily moving away from the resource you have to one provided by someone else puts you at the mercy of whoever is supplying you.

The deal calls for "transitioning away from fossil fuels in energy systems, in a just, orderly and equitable manner ... so as to achieve net zero by 2050 in keeping with the science."
What's the penalty if they miss the deadline? Oh, there isn't a penalty?
quote:
The deal calls on governments to accelerate that - specifically by tripling of renewable energy capacity globally by 2030, speeding up efforts to reduce coal use, and accelerating technologies such as carbon capture and storage that can clean up hard-to-decarbonise industries.
Meanwhile, in Germany, China, the UK, India, etc.
This is nothing more than a feel-good declarative statement designed to put forth a wall of good intentions to hide the reality that little-to-nothing will change.
