That is the only drawback I can identify.
And the backseat is pretty tight if you have kids. Especially if they're in car seats or if you have big kids (teenagers).

If I had to move to a city and my full size truck just didn't make sense, I'd look at one,

I would drive it, but I wouldn't buy it.

Why, because it doesn't doesn't lend itself to wheel spacers and offset rims?
Tuscaloosa is just lousy with full size trucks with wheels sticking way out the side.
It's so stupid looking.

That would work, as a truck, for 95% of the people who use a truck.
I'd add, it'd probably work BETTER as a truck, for 95% of the people who use a truck.
Better ride, better handling, better engine, sophisticated storage options, etc.
It just has absolutely no baw to it.
I drive a Tacoma which is prety archaic in comparison. But I perceived it to be the most reliable option.

100% better than it was before

It’s the nerd of trucks. Honda seems to embrace the look because they could change pretty easily if they wanted.
Being honest; it’s all most people that need a truck will ever need
They’re exceptionally well made. The engine can easily get 200,000 miles. It’s got surprising pay load. I really like that sun bed trunk too.
I tried to buy a used one years ago and got into a bidding war and lost. I admit that I bowed out because I wanted a deal to drive something that looks like that.

IDK… I had one for several years. I bought it based on the fact that I said “if Honda ever makes a 4x4, I’ll buy it.” Based on experience with the accord and their 4 wheeler bikes.
I enjoyed it for a while, but I got tired of it. It soon became an old people/lesbian vehicle, so there’s that.

Something about how the transition from the cab to the bed. It’s always looked lazy on ridge lines.

Also had a 2006. Great truck, hauled way above it's rated capacity many times. Put 320,000 miles on it, gave to my sister when her transmission went out. She drove it another 150,000.
Also, what many of the uninformed here, it was built with a ladder frame, and a unibody wrapped around the frame. Was 50% stiffer than an F150 at the time.

I like it. The bed storage is great, but the spare really should not be in the bed storage trunk. If you have a heavy load, or worst case gravel or dirt, and get a flat, you're pretty screwed.

Properly engineered unibody is always more rigid than a ladder frame

Better looking than the over-wrought frontends of today's 1/2-tons, esp from GM.

Negative.. if I'm buying a small 4Dr P/U I'll get a Tacoma...
