Eric Henderson the current LA Rams DL Coach is rumored to in consideration for the same position with LSU. Seems to be a fit, as he worked with Frank Wilson at UTSA

Played high school football at Edna Karr so he is familiar with the state and could relate to these kids. No clue if this is legit or not but he does have run game coordinator responsibilities attached to his DL coach title with the Rams. Seems like it would be an upgrade

Nola native. Has spent the last few years around one of the greatest DL in NFL history.

As long as he can recruit, I'm 100% on board with giving this dude a shot.

I like how everyone is saying " as long as he can recruit". You can have all the talent in the world but poor technique and development makes the world of difference. Look at Danielle Hunter... Dude is an all pro in the NFL

Shone Washington and Reliford are committing to be coached by someone and it's not Lindsey, nothing against him, I'm hoping he makes a full recovery. When Reliford was asked about his relationship with Lindsey he said they talked from time to time, thats it, that can't be hos pos. coach. It may not be 100%, but at this point I believe it is Henderson and I'm excited about it. Pulling Reliford was no little thing, neither was Shone

Having Aaron Donald’s coach would be a pretty easy recruiting pitch id imagine….

Can he recruit?

That needs to be the first question asked regarding assistants

I gotta be honest with ya here Nick, that's actually a horrible endorsement and one that guy probably wants no part of.

I just saw he's also the run game coordinator. Interesting combo. He looks like he would be exactly what we need.

But don't tell him that.

He was named top DL coach in the NFL in 2021. His defensive lines with the Rams and Chargers have always ranked near the top for not only run defense, but also sacks and tackles for loss. He also played DL in college.

LSU is probably doubling his salary. NFL position coaches don't stack cash but they also have way less to worry about.
