Eric Henderson the current LA Rams DL Coach is rumored to in consideration for the same position with LSU. Seems to be a fit, as he worked with Frank Wilson at UTSA
Yeh I know he's playing but he's clearly not going to be 100%. I'm concerned its going to affect his level of play, hopefully not all season.
He looks like he hasn't fully recovered from his knee injury or it might be the new injury he picked in camp. But either way he doesn't look healthy and it doesn't look like something that will get better quickly.

Very similar build and profile as Mingo was his HS junior year.

Worst comparison ever! Mingo was 6'6 205 with a lot bigger frame in HS dipstick!

I see sites calling this kid an OLB prospect and thats stretching to say the least. He have to add 40 to 50 plus lbs to a slinder frame to be a legit linebacker. Other I think we pick up a great safety prospect he reminds me some of B taylor or Battle from class 0f 2014
Does last year count against his 5 years to play 4? Not that it really matters because if he's any where near advertised he'll be gone in 3 more years max possibly 2
Some of the most exciting highlight film I've ever watched! His instincts and tenacity are of the charts! I really want to see how he develops physically he runs like a safety and hits like a linebacker, would be a monster in a rover/star type position. I know he wont be a tiger but the ability to recruit guys this has me excited about the future of the LSU Steele Curtain :geauxtigers:

re: Feleipe Franks Appreciation Thread

If Shea was committed and Franks wasn't we have the opposite Franks threads all over.

Im just tired of people on the board acting as if we dont get Shea LSU football is goin to be doomed. We have what maybe the best qb prospect in the class in Franks definitely our best since Ryan Perrilloux. With his arm talent and physically he truly a generational talent. He can spin it with the best and has the mobilty to extend plays and make something out of nothing and from his film knows how to play the QB position. I cant wait to see this kid in P&G

Franks is clearly the better player and is currently an LSU commit. He has the true arm talent to dominate college football when I look at him its not really a question of his college success but just how good will he be in the NFL. Shea is a good not great prospect. He doesnt look to be anywhere near his measureables which I believe he's listed 6'2 when it comes to throwing the ball his tape shows average arm strength for a college QB (franks has a cannon and is more mobile) He is not the second coming of the Mannings or even the Booty's it would be a major mistake to take him over franks but as i say this I wouldnt mind taking him in addition to franks who i believe is a 3 yr prospect redshirt and stash on the bench and use him as a bridge to the dinkleman kid

I know this is a Franks post but this keith gavin kid #7 is a beast! Kinda stole the show imagine those two in the purple and gold together! :geauxtigers:
Keiland was ripped since we were like 10 years old its amazing how someone could have been that huge and was a vegetarian since the 4th grade and never really lifted weights
6'5 Kap= TQ barely 6'0 He may have long strides for his size but not the same at all. FYI I like TQ but being that he's short with a relatively long stride is a hinderance in terms of quickness and agility. Despite lack of both runs good route and makes tough catches = good football player. I see this guy being lance Moore type and watching today's game golden Tate type player. I don't agree with immediate PT bc he has to be able prove route running and most of all understanding of coverages, the latter being his most crucial element of success :geauxtigers:

We may have too much depth honestly considering the way we've recruited so well these last couple of years. Unless they're elite prospects they may never see the field.
