WYWI - English Leather cologne from the 70’s/80’s, sold at K&B Drugs?

Found this today at an estate sale. It is unopened. I’m guessing by the price, it’s from the early 80’s.
And before anyone asks me why I’m buying old smelly cologne from estate sales, I have actually done very well with old, unopened colognes and perfumes.

I remember the ads.
"All my men wear English Leather...or they wear nothing at all".

Looks like a bad Christmas gift from the 80's. As a kid, I always felt bad for my Dad when he would get crap like this for Christmas.
That K&B tag is for sure early 80's or even older.

I would rather see what it’s worth to a collector. I can’t imagine 40 year old cologne holding up well.

Man I loved that stuff back in the day. It was my go-to in high school. I thought I was something baw.

That’s like $40-50 today.

Would definitely wear that before the overpowering Brut. Polo, and Obsession that everyone was soaking themselves with in the 80s!

Had a bottle of EL break in the back of my Supra while at Southeastern in the early 80’s, still smelled like it when I sold it in ‘91…

Of course I would and at that value, it's a steal.

Cool Water cologne is the most refreshing smell I’ve ever worn.
Still spray that on after a shower.
My Lady still loves it.
It’s not Nostalgia or Snoop vibes for me it gives it’s just great stuff and not over powering.
