Let's be honest - the only people who don't have JD5 as their Heisman are. . .

1. People who picked others at the start of the season and don't want to admit they were wrong
2. Are so biased bc they are only looking at everything through their regional lenses
3. Truly don't watch enough college football and so just make lazy predictions based on other media talk heads

The numbers. The eye test. The overall electric performance. The "carrying this team on his back"

How can anyone with half a brain not have this guy as their front runner?!?!

I think a lot of these guys either have a regional bias or just vote for who is in the lead so they can say they voted for the winner. There isn't a statistic in the game right now that doesn't point to JD as the true Heisman. Totally objective.

The media is who drives the players that are Heisman hopefuls. JB wasn't a hopeful going into 2019 but had Texas early to start getting noticed. From the first week or 2 the media has built up the PAC 12 as being a great conference and the Colorado crap. I still don't see Oregon or Washington putting up much of a contest against UGA, Bama, OSU, or Michigan. Nix is way overrated and mostly dinks and dunks from the games I have seen.

flipping through the channels on Monday and happen to catch the header on PTI .. "Jayden Daniels". Kornholio asks Wilbon what he thought of JD's performance this weekend compared to Pennix and Harrison. Wilbon starts gushing over Harrison claiming he's doing things WR's haven't done in years, and CLEARLY Harrison is the best player in CFB. Even noted how Harrison should win the Heisman and he would be a perfect draft choice for the Bears. Changed the channel after listening to this biased idiot.

Big Ten does not have a Heisman QB this year. I think BT voters will split between Penix and Daniels with a lean toward Daniels. West Coast will go for Penix but Williams may pull enough votes to the benefit of Daniels.

People who have bought into the media hype about an undefeated team. LSU would not be at 6-3 without JD5 or our terrible defense. If we can win out I think that would help Daniels. I haven't seen a QB this explosive before. He is truly a special man and athlete.

I usually don’t watch Around the Horn on ESPN. But they were about to talk about the Heisman so I wanted to see what they had to say.

One host admitted he is a Big Ten guy and he said Marvin Harrison should be the clear cut favorite to win the Heisman. (Malik Nabors stats are better and he isn’t even in the conversation!)

The other host went through Jayden Daniels’ stats and said he should win the Heisman. All the while the other host was talking over him saying Marvin Harrison over and over.

So yeah….that was a clear example of regional bias.

Wild to me that people get so caught up on the lazy wins-loses argument. These aren’t starting MLB pitchers we’re talking about and comparing. JD is showcasing skills that extend beyond a basic win-loss record. He’s the top individual performer in CFB and should win the Heisman because of that.

Probably the biggest flaw, some people insist an individual award should be tied to overall team performance. A great player can be on an average team. It’s an individual award not team award.

unfortunately those last 2 categories make up the majority of Heisman voters.

The most surprising was to see RGIII dogging Jayden

1. From New Orleans
2. Said while calling the LSU/Ole Miss game JD was leading on his ballet
3. Won a fricking heisman with 3 losses (Tyrann was robbed)
Yet yesterday he got into it with no less then 3 LSU media personalities on twitter on the topic (carter the power, mikie and blake/AYS)

Carter invited him to speak on it on his show to which RG3 ghosted him.
CB a went on to demolish RG3s weak arse arguement

I guess he's getting them twitter impressions but nowhere to be found to actually speak on the subject. Any of our guy would destroy his arguement in a second

It’s obvious at this point RG3 just yaps for clicks and because he likes the sound of his own voice.
