He has done very little to rebuild the depleted roster. Key Louisiana recruits going elsewhere and poor decisions or inability to get quality players from the portal. Poor use of defensive players highlighted by the massive misuse of Perkins. Not looking good unless he fixes these things.

Hopefully they scrapped the dancing platform. Obviously didn't earn any good will

LSU 2024 thru 2030 Excuses:

-Coach O’s fault
-We’re just a few years removed from the dumpster fire
-We’re young

Who wouldn't take that "dumpster fire" with a ten year contract and so was well paid.
He and Jimbo should send Woody a. big Christma$ preSent every year until they pa$$.
Man, what a gift from the university/ticket buyers.

Absolutely not especially if he’s had a hand in some of these hires and portal additions

I dont see how House can survive.

Kelly has shown he can turn around an offense, I will trust him to find someone to do the same on defense. But his recruiting, particularly at DB is part of this.

he has 100 million guaranteed reasons not to care.

If we needed a rebuild, we prob hired the wrong guy because his career doesnt rely on doing well here.

defense to get better week over we week. And now we can't even honestly point to an individual player who has improved since week 1.

This is one point that warrants far more criticism. We simply are not improving across nine games.

I dont think anyone is asking you to feel sorry for him. Most people are saying to give the guy time.

Is eight more years sufficient?
That is when his contract is fulfilled.
Think he will win the conference in 10 years.

Well.... we have the best offense in college football along w one of the worst defenses statistically. Your argument doesn't really make sense. Maybe we are 1/2 way there?

These are ludicrous takes.

He's done pretty well for having just 1 full recruiting class

The worst defense in the country but he's done pretty well? What a joke you are.

Kelly is now 9-15 in championship or must win games life time.

I would say leaving Kelly 39 scholarship players is not only just a dumster fire it's a 5 alarm dumster fire. Do you actually think a coach any coach could win 10 games and the SEC West his first year with this? Oh wait he did.

Common sense is not so common anymore.

Kelly has a better first year record than Saban did. Did it with less talent too.

Nuss was better last year than JD. He just lacks the reps right now. JD has pushed his game to a new level, no doubt. Nothing saying Nuss cannot do the same.

And it is very likely Kelly will never have an offense this good again.

I disagree. They are running Kelly's offense with elite LSU atheletes now. No reason it cannot continue.
