For me, one was a Mawmaw and one was Maw.

For my wife, one was a Meme and one was Grana.

Both have passed. One was mawmaw and other was nana.

I said grandma. For whatever it's worth my grandpa name is Dude and the wife (no pics) is Daisy. The grand just started calling us that.

Nona - my moms mom who was Italian.
Grandma - my dads mom.

I called both of mine "grandma". My cousin tried calling our grandpa "Pee-paw". He said to never ever call him that

If I used either of those terms for either of my grandmothers, one of my parents would have corrected me very directly.

It was "Grandma (surname)"

Dads grandparents were mawmaw and poop
Dads mother was grandma
Moms parents are grandpa and “Mum”
Moms grandparents were Nana and Popa/Poppa

If you had a Meemaw, you had a Pappaw

I thought that was the law.

I had a granny who died when I was fairly young. We lost mawmaw a few years ago. I miss her a lot.
