It truly is depressing. Instead of starting the pain and just biting the bullet and going full reset they made it worse.

We will be fricked for half a decade at least.

I would rather blow it up and suck vs keep kicking the can down the road every year to suck.

Kicking the can was understandable when the Saints were Super Bowl contenders but not now. Time to pay the piper so a rebuild can happen.

It smells like restructuring up in here. Watch out for the Saints in 2037!

3 years - that is the time it'll take for us (and the restructures) to be safe.

1. Restructuring Cam saves 9mil
2. Restructuring Lattimore saves 11mil
3. Post June 1 Trade/Cut Ram saves 17mil (10mil dead)
4. Plan to always restructure Carr saves 23mil
5. Restructuring Cesar saves 6mil
6. Restructuring Erik saves 6mil

Restructuring only works if the players are worth pushing the can 3-4 years...

I'm not keeping Mathieu around after this year.

Especially at those numbers.

He is basically a box/nickel safety now that avoids contact.

It's still crazy that we let Marcus Williams walk.
