Saw someone in the forums that wrapped the window accents and b/c pillars black.
Did this to my 2021 Tahoe and it makes it so much better. But the wrap is starting to fray at the edges and I have to decide if I should redo it or take it off. Don't know why they slam that chrome around every window. Looks like crap.

Toyota isn't magical. They have a pretty solid reliability history, but are notoriously milquetoast and outdated from design and technology standpoints.
Depends what you want in a vehicle.
I want to spend as little time in my car as possible.
I want it to start when I’m ready to go and make it to my destination.
Toyota does that. As for technology I can hook up my phone and play music charge it and use navigation. That’s all I need.

I always laugh at the the posters talking shite to people that buy new cars while bragging about driving a 20 year old 4runner.

Probably related. I will take the yota.

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve really come to agree with this. I don’t want tech in my cars. I want it as simple and as reliable as possible. I don’t want something that’s going to break or become outdated in a couple of years.

I may be too old-school, but I have believe that Jeep would sell a GW like hot cakes, if they utilized the late 80’s body style, used real wood for the paneling; updated the dash, yet keep it simple, improved the drive train and put more horses under hood. Price it under a Yukon. Grand wagoneer was a gen x dream car in the 80s

I will say my wife has the grand Cherokee summit reserve edition with the 5.7. It’s basically a smaller version of the wagoneer and it’s a really nice vehicle and have had no issues. Service contract she has is great too.
They’re much improved in quality over jeeps of the past but many can’t get past the Chrysler reputation before they were bought out by Fiat

Why anyone would buy a vehicle other than Toyota is beyond me. If you need a heavy-duty truck, then you may have to look at Ford or Chevy. I haven't heard good things about the redesigned Tundra though.
I feel the same way about Subaru, though I guess I'll have to compromise if I want a truck.
Anyway, the eurotrash have always profoundly misunderstood Chrysler. You can't run that organization like Volkswagen or Fiat.

What am I going to do with a screen the size of 2 iPads while driving?
All it is is more cost to repair when it breaks

I don't know what I'm going to do when I need a new vehicle because I'm not paying their stupid prices. I guess I'll just find something that someone local is selling on the used market for way under this.
If everyone would stop paying these stupid prices, the market prices will come down. Too many people are leveraging everything they have on credit.

Tech in cars is an expensive gimmick. Just give me Bluetooth and I'm set with all the tech I need.
Most tech isn't finished and promises future updates. The problem is the project development teams are already working on the next generation of models so you're never going to get the future updates.

Same here with Enterprise. Series III version. Speedometer was set to kmh. I had to pull over and read the owners manual to get it set to mph.

I bucket Jeep Wagoneer (specifically the Grand Wagoneer) in the same bucket with Land Rovers: they are great to look at and drive but expect reliability challenges.

This is the OT.. you should probably spell it “milktoast” so that the baws can understand you .
