Had a cop almost hit the front of my car as he raced down the on ramp and across three lanes of traffic. When the son of a bitch pulled me over several miles down the road (I was trying to change lanes in a construction zone to exit the interstate) we got into quite the argument. He asked me where I was going and I replied with where the frick were you going that you almost wrecked my car. His response was then that he had been to driving school and I replied back with I don’t give a frick, 99 percent of the traffic hasn’t and you’re driving like a dumbass. Had you actually had someplace to go, you wouldn’t have pulled me over 3 miles later.

I somehow managed to not get a ticket. He said he didn’t write people tickets on their birthday and I told him he wasn’t gonna write me one either. I then offered him some birthday cake.

The Ruston cops will park on the sidewalk at our Super Walmart. There's plenty of concrete for them. It's a great place to get the day's paperwork finished.

The picture does actually look like someone seated held the phone above their head and aimed it at the truck.

Are they shopping or working?

This is the key.

I think this is a very bad example of cops being shitheads.

If hes working, why the frick would he pull into some spot in the the middle of the lot? That doesnt make any sense.

If hes shopping, then yeah, park your arse out of the fire lane.

Chris looks like what you would imagine. He’s def the one stealing and he’s upset the cop is there to stop him.

Meh If my local pd is short staffed then I don’t want them wasting time looking for spots when they get called out Also don’t want them to have to run back through parking lots when trying to respond quickly to the next call

Why are cops doing leisurely grocery shopping while on the tax payer clock?

Why would anyone want to be a cop if they have to follow the same rules as everyone else?

I agree, especially since China Mart designates a couple of up close spots just for the do-nut eating pigs.

Does anyone know where they’re passing out the passes that allow you to do whatever you want with no consequences?

Or has Walmart specifically contracted with the local PD to park a car out front and have an off-duty guy in uniform inside as a theft deterrent?

This post is about as idiotic as it gets.

Maybe we should tell cops no more speeding and just let the bad guys get away?

Every Walmart usually has a cop working security detail. Sometimes they use their personal car and you don’t even notice them.

They just want one on site during operating hours as a deterrent, to process caught shoplifters, and handle any random problems that pop up.

99.99999999% of a cops job is doing personal stuff. But that 0.000001% is lit.

I agree with you on this kind of thing. I've also seen them turn on lights to bypass traffic, then turn them off when they got to their offramp.

This is done because idiots can’t handle seeing blue lights so they’re used sparingly.

He’s probably working a detail at Walmart and is instructed to park there. Almost every Walmart in the area contracts with the local PD to have a cop on site at all times.

But don’t let me interrupt your melt.

This board is full of faux Constitutional Conservatives that love the police state in order to be saved from their own shadow. Good Luck requiring police to follow the laws or even understand them, much less the Constitution.
