Exactly. A lot like cigarettes. Once you switch from Marlboro Lights to Camel Lights you are set. The only way Bud Light gains market share is to keep their mouth shut for the next year and then cut their price to be significantly below Coors Light and Miller Lite. That will cost them a lot of money and they will be competing with their own brand Natural Light. American crap light beers all taste the same.

This is the direction you wanted to go, AB InBev.
Own it, dipshites.

You're logic is almost similar to the logic the bimbo used to promote the dude dressed as a chick.
If you think former Bud Light drinkers would ignore the company alienating them over the "dilly dilly" saying, you're duly scoffing at the former customer base.
Consumers have repeatedly said, if you admit the mistake and apologize, you may get back a portion of the lost business. That is the one thing they refuse to do. They bent the knee, and they lost the leg. They refuse to bend the other knee.

Eventually moron.
Eventually they would get business back.
I didn’t say everyone would go back.

Enough people are dumb enough that just changing from a blue to a white can and calling it Budweiser Light would do wonders for sales.

What I would appreciate is returning to the Budweiser formulation they were using in 1980.
I read an article years ago about how they were reducing the hops in Budweiser over time because people were buying so much light beer with a much milder taste.
In college when I had the money long neck Budweiser was the beer I wanted. When I was light in the wallet we did Old Milwaukee or something like that.

I agree with you here. Cut their price and many will buy it because it's cheaper. Alot of folks have their morals and I applaud them, but alot more rather have their money in the end.

An apology now would be seen as an insult.
I don’t know any former bud lite guys ever going back.

The only way to save the Bud Light “brand” at this point is to sell it off to some retired NASCAR champion who starts off by saying “it’s time to again make America’s beer for Americans, by Americans. We’re going to focus on making beer and leave the influencing to the media.”

Only LSU baws.

What's crazy is every major beer company has in some way done a "woke" campaign. Bud Light just did it at the worst possible time.

Exactly. Before all this, nobody gave a crap. Coors, Miller, or Bud Light were the unremarkably different default selections that would probably in the ice chest for the majority of fishing trips, crawfish boils, BBQs, etc. where a good bit of decent beer was needed and fancy beer wasn't warranted.
It worked because most baws (at least those of us who cut our teeth on the Beast) wouldn't bitch about the selection, regardless of which of the 3 we preferred.
Bud Light is probably off of that list forever because (1) lots of people are pissed and (2) now someone will always bitch if it's in the ice chest.
They done.

This Bud Light disaster is starting the scare the hell out of other woke companies. The CEO of Disney has recommended to his board that they stop the release of Snow White (which is extremely woke).
The board is in controversy about what to do.

How are they supposed to virtue signal without ‘controversial topics’?
Can’t do it Sally.

I only speak for myself, but I have to think there are hundreds of thousands of others out there like me.
I quit drinking Bud Light a couple weeks before the Dylan thing happened. It was for a simple reason, I watched Smoky and The Bandit for the first time since childhood, wherein they are bootlegging Coors. The next time I went to the beer store, I got Coors. I really enjoyed it. So I kept buying it. Then the "boycott" started.
My neighbor doesn't follow poli and is likely unaware of the Dylan situation, and she still drinks Bud Light. She was out of town and asked me to water plants, feed dog, and help myself to a beer from the fridge. So I did, it was Bud Light. Nobody was around, so I figured why not. I ended up pouring it out because it was so disgusting. I think so many people's pallets have changed in the last few months to whatever their new beer is, they will never go back for that reason alone.

I thought the gays and trannies were a large percentage of the population. all the rainbow bullshite being shoved in our faces 24/7 seems to suggest this.
why is Bud Light not doubling down on catering to the LGBBQ community? why focus on football? are they insinuating that gays and trannies aren't as ubiquitous as most of us are led to believe. very embarrassing.

I dont care what they do. I will never drink another AB product.
I will not even drink it if it is free, and comes with a free side of chicken wings.
I hope they wither on the vine and die. I doubt they will but any success they have will not be because of me.

Once again they are telling on themselves. This is what they think of normal people that don't want trans shite shoved in their face, just a bunch of bumpkins who do nothing but watch football and listen to country music. This is the label they've slapped on everybody who stopped buying Bud Light because of their elite enlightened virtue signaling. "We gotta get the rednecks back y'all, football and some country should do it". frick them
