Also, I should've been clearer on this. I'm not bringing her to EVERY game. I'd like to take her to one for the obligatory photo op that isn't an ear piercing SEC game. Family and babysitter suggestions are great for all the obvious reasons, yes. I was mostly concerned with what we would do for when she's actually AT the game.
Also, my daughter is the most chill baby on the planet. Already went on three flights (two with an ear infection) and did not cry one time. She can handle Tiger Stadium, but we're not going to put any long term testing into that this season.
Go in, take the pick then hand her off to the grandparents outside the gate. Nobody wants to sit next to a baby at an LSU game.

Even at a non conference game that’s a huge pain in the arse

Not nearly as big a pain in the arse and sitting by a baby the entire game.
We brought our son in at 18 months to 11:00 am kickoff then I took him back to the tailgate after 20 minutes or so. I’d rather sit next to a baby on an airplane than in Tiger Stadium. At least I can wear noise canceling ear buds on a plane. Seats are tight, it’s hot, now the person next to you has a baby on their lap likely getting beer splashed on him and you’re self conscious about everything you say and do while they are there.

This is why some people shouldn't be parents. Keep these parents on your radars. They will be doing some more dumb sheet in the future that will go viral.

Get a damn sitter. Anyone that would bring a baby out there in that crowd and weather shouldn’t be allowed to reproduce.

It’s not obligatory.
Ask yourself if you’d be interested in doing this even if the event is never posted to social media. If you’d still be interested, take the baby to a high school game close to the house.

Never had a problem never will

You can tell this board is loaded with super old farts by the responses. In their minds all children under the age of 6 are the worst. They cry and scream the entire time. Poop and pee all over the place. They climb all over strangers next to them and you can’t enjoy the game if there’s one near you because all you want to do as a fan is cuss and act like a dumbass.
To all you jackasses. The guy is talking about the Grambling game which will be empty after the first quarter and really empty even in general. He’s not sitting in the middle of the damn student section handing whiskey to his baby. Y’all exaggerate how wild tiger stadium is for these types of games. It’s a glorified spring game we’re talking about. Y’all act like he asked about bringing a baby to the LSU BAMA game and wants to sit in the middle of the student section holding the baby up like lion king.
Get a fricking grip. Tons of young parents do this and there’s nothing wrong with it as long as you’re responsible and mindful of the people sitting near you. fricking old farts wake up.

I’m 35 with kids under 5 and think it’s dumb as frick to bring a baby to any game at TS
Posted on 7/28/23 at 4:40 pm to turnpiketiger
Also under 40 with 2 very young kids.
No chance in frick i torture myself, my marriage, my children, or the fans sitting around us just to get a pic on the ‘gram proving I brought my infant children to an LSU football game.

I’m under 40 and think bringing a baby to Tiger Stadium is the epitome of dumb and irresponsible.
Also the Southern game last year was heavily attended and certainly wasn’t a place for an infant.

DO NOT DO IT. I brought my kid who was 1 to the first game after the expansion on the upper East side. Perhaps the hottest day in Tiger stadium history. I think the concrete was still curing it was so hot. Had to leave at halftime for safety reasons before leaving at halftime was a thing. It was not good for her or us and a complete waste of time and effort.

I would wait 2 years min. Buy tickets to the cheapest game on the schedule and sit high. My daughter loved it at 2. Earlier than that is a pain.

Brought my 6 year old last year for the first time and my buddy brought his 4 year old. The 4 year old was a pain in the arse. I can’t imagine an infant.

I have a feeling, despite all the “Do not do it’s” you’re still gonna do it, aintcha?

Based on your comment, you’re the one who needs to get a grip.
Bringing an infant to a game (any game) just so you can get a picture of something she won’t remember and will not enjoy and torture your wife and yourself in the process is flat out wrong and stupid.

You will be absolutely miserable if you bring a one year old to a football game
