I have 3 children…..took each to their first game at approximately 18 mos old…still in diapers at the time because I changed each in TS. The oldest attended a non-conference game in October of ‘01, middle child attended the ‘03 season opener against ULM, and youngest attended Arky late season ‘05. Had no problems and they took it all in with amazement. They all 3 grew up going to Tiger games of all sports and 2 of the 3 were in Omaha this year independently of me and their mother (we were there also). They don’t remember being in Tiger Stadium at 18 months, but they know that they were there and I think that, as Tiger fans, they appreciate that their idiot father took them. They all 3 will graduate from LSU and two of them will eventually have multiple degrees from our common alma mater.

She won’t remember the game. Get a sitter or don’t go.

This is like bringing a baby to Disney. What’s the point? Why?

Keep a baby away from 100,000, maybe drunk football fans.

If you bring this kid, let us know what game... and I hope protective service is there. what a dumbass.

I’m going to add to the chorus by saying you’re a tard for even thinking of this. First of all, you and the baby would be miserable. Secondly, so much shite could accidentally happen to the baby with the crowd and rowdy fans.

Posting again to acknowledge that of all the dumbass shite I’ve posted in the past, at least I’m never going to be the one who asked about bringing his baby to Tiger Stadium.

In my experience, babies are more difficult to throw and do not travel as far as ice-filled stadium souvenir cups when celebrating or venting frustration at on-field product. Also harder to carry while storming the field.

For my dollar, I recommend utilizing a “baby sitter”.

You should buy a legitimate seat next to you if you bring child to the game. Holding a child on your lap in Tiger STadium is not the easiest or safest thing to do. Also it can be a nightmare for those sitting next to you. Why limit the other fan's aggressive high fives that go around after the Tigers score? Someone holding a one year old (especially a small or frail carrier) puts the child at risk. Most everybody would try to be careful around a child but that is a packed situation.

I wold not bring a baby or a young kid to a big SEC game. The small games like Grambling and Army are good games for kids

I have been taking my kids to games when they were 3 months old. It was in the South Club where you can bring in strollers and diaper bags. We used a family restroom a number of times to change them. Do they have family restrooms in the lower bowl or upper decks? You will need it.

Only take them to a night game and give plenty of fluids, and expect to leave early or before halftime. The baby can only last so long.

Do not take the baby to an SEC game.

Expect that you are doing this because of what you want to do for the baby's experience, not for your experience. You will be paying attention to the baby more than the game.

Fast forward several years later, and my kids are LSU nuts. They want to go to everygame and are engaged, so taking them to games early on in their life is an investment for the future bonding you will have with them.

Why would you bring a one year old to an LSU football game? Don’t. Hire a babysitter.

He admitted it was just for the Gram. Has nothing to do with his enjoyment of the game, the baby’s enjoyment (more like misery) of being at the game, or the lack of a babysitter. It’s strictly for the photo op. Sad sign of the times.

Get off facebook and get a baby sitter. You have plenty of time to take her to LSU games where at least you can have a conversation with her throughout the game.

This is such a strange take to me.

I went to my first LSU baseball and basketball games as a 6 year old and first football game as a 7 year old and I guarantee I’m just as much of a diehard fan as any infant that’s entered the stadiums
