maybe that's why i can realize that we (not me) have a terrible history of treating women, gays, blacks, etc. poorly in the past, but just not GAF, because even if things are better, they're just going to complain and move on to the next thing. i recognize how terrible it was for women until the last 50 or so years. i completely get how terrible redlining, jim crow, and slavery were. Despicable. Even if i have my opinions on homosexuality, they're still people that deserve dignity and weren't given it for a long time.
But I didn't do those things and other than acknowledging the grief that you(not really you... you live in the best time to be alive ever for any gender, race, or sexuality ever)r subgroup endured, i don't have a lot for you.

That said, it is pretty fricking warped not to believe that a human being can have an honest to God real attraction to the opposite sex and not be "seeking attention". Dudes in drag are seeking attention. Two dudes in the privacy of their own home in fear of being outed are doing exactly the opposite of that.

The whole LGBTQA-++ movement doesn’t have much use for you anymore. They have moved on past gay rights,; to letting kids choose to have their sexual organs removed. On deck is MAP, minor attracted persons. Because if a 9 year old is mature enough to cut their dick or breasts off, then they are mature enough to have sex. That is where this is heading. Sorry they used you.

The fact is being gay is something you can point to the world we all live and see that it’s real. People can be sexually aroused by people of the same sex.
Being transgendered requires from where I sit that one makes a metaphysical claim that what you are “on the inside” is different from what is here in reality.
These seem like two completely different issues on almost every level to me, and I’m much more sympathetic to the gay community than to the community that is seeking to impose a metaphysics I don’t believe in on me.
