Keener just struck out the side but only threw 2-3 strikes. Not a good inning for that ump.

Who gets you 15 out?

Some combo of Herring, Guidry… Don’t be surprised if we see Hurd or Cooper

We get late in the game and Pearson is up at a meaningful time then I think you have to pinch hit him.

It’s ok. Hold them to 3 quick outs here and their pitcher will really feel the heat.

With our fans were rowdy.

Well so much for my post about Crews not being timid at the plate anymore. frick. He needs to watch a how to video starring Tommy Tanks.

That half inning was a momentum stopper.

Two low strike three calls. Maybe we will get those calls as well…

We’ve been getting a few generous calls too (so far)

It still was too close

You know I used to have this same mentality but I’m over it. It’s either a ball or strike. Too close to take is horseshite. A close ball is still a ball. It doesn’t matter if it is 0 1 or 2 strikes it’s still a ball.

The ump shouldn’t be able to change the zone based on the count.

Herring hopefully gets 3-6 more. Guidry gets a chance for 6+. Hurd before Cooper IMO.
