Ump expanded the zone a bit that inning but he did the same on one with Herring. Swing at close pitches. I don’t mind the strike zone so far.

Pearson is going to have to show up at the plate.

We have to play Thompson. We don’t have to play Pearson.

He can't be too mad since he rung up the batter prior to him on a pitch in the exact same spot.

Two low strike three calls. Maybe we will get those calls as well…

Where’d all you fricking clowns go who called ballgame in the 2nd inning?

I’m one of those clowns. Congratulations to all true LSU fans who stick with it. I guess my patience and stress level is not up to the ebb and flow of a CWS game. Oh well, you all enjoy. Hope the Tigers pull it out.

low and away, 1-0
liner off Herring's glove, Thompson fields it but no play, infield hit

The inconsistency of these Homeplate umpires in the college World Series of all places is just mind boggling. It’s a strike now it’s not a strike now it’s a strike now it’s not a strike.
I’ve been watching all year long and haven’t seen anything like this at any time this year.
