Nobody cares that he's banging whores..

They're making fun of the fact that he's a simp throwing huge amounts of money at strippers and porn stars and asking them to be his live-in girlfriend

There's no path forward where this ends up working out. He can't be traded for anything of value. And, now it's much more clear that his upside here is very limited.

There's no right answer.

As down as I am on Zion, I actually disagree that he can’t be traded for anything of value this offseason.

However, this is the offseason to do it. Another year of bullshite and his trade value probably does tank all of the way.

Things Zion has working for him trade value wise.

2 time all star in 4 seasons (while arguably never at peak shape or form).

Had the New Orleans Pelicans as the #1 seed halfway through the season, despite key injuries.

Historically efficient offensive player, that showed big improvement in defensive skill and effort last season.

He’s currently healthy and looks to be at a reasonable weight (sub 300). He recovered from the foot fracture and played the best basketball of his career. The hamstring was annoying, but not a career ender.

Like it or not, a majority of franchises across the nba likely look at the Pelicans ownership and front office situation as a joke. A lot of teams probably blame the Pelicans for half of Zion’s issues and think they can be the team/city/leaders to “fix him”.

Zion’s contract is large, but it’s a zero risk contract that is pretty much unprecedented in the NBA. If he gets injured, you can waive him without penalty. If he stays fat, you can waive him without penalty.

Contrast that situation with someone like Jaylen Brown (about to make $50 mil) or Dame (making $60 mil). Great players, but they could theoretically have career ending injuries and you would have zero out or recourse on their contracts.

We could probably still get a top 8-10 package of all time for Zion right now if we’d nut up, see the writing on the wall, and pull the trigger. It’s not working here for whatever reason. Both parties need a fresh start. And I could think of roughly 25 teams that would at least be willing to make an offer for Zion after watching most of these teams play this season.

We’d likely be able to pick and choose the package we wanted the most. There is a lot of inherent value in that VS waiting for an official trade demand and list of teams like we had to do with CP3, AD and Jrue.

It's nothing. It's wild that people think we have to trade him because of this specifically, like this is the last straw.

Well no, we should have already traded him because he's a lazy, fat frick who may still have a shred of trade value we can pimp for literally anything that could contribute. But I know. There's always next year/ACL/hammy.

Is this true? I know there are protections that decrease the amount owed. But I didn't know that it was totally void able..

The memes are out of control this morning, but I have sensed a shift against Moriah Mills, which is a good thing.

People are starting to go after her a bit and defend Zion.

Don't really agree but even if that is true, there is nothing that happened in the last 48 hours that has anything to do with that assertion.

He can't be traded for anything of value.
If he starts the 1st 10 games of the year and plays his normal game, he'll get every last bit of that value back immediately.

And, now it's much more clear that his upside here is very limited.
When you say it's all so clear "now," what is the timeframe on that? Surely, you're not saying you NOW realize his upside is limited because he bangs IG hoes? Either you thought it before this week or you didn't. Nothing happened this week that would make you change that opinion, assuming it's a rational opinion.
