I do, especially since I open carry while I do it...

Here. Just finished a couple of small flower beds for my wife for Mother's Day.

Time to water that grass my dude!

Though I can't really talk as I'm having a hell of a time getting grass to grow in a few spots in the backyard.

Same here. That’s one thing my dad instilled in me early. Take pride in it and do it right. It’s your first impression to the world.

Jackass bought a zero turn CubCadet when I was 9 and said it was my first car
Bought a husquvarna push mower for the front yard a year or so later, and I still use it on my yard today.

LOL. I killed off more than was necessary for the size of the beds because it was mostly weeds. I don't get the backyard treated because of the dogs. Hopefully will get some pieces of sod to lay there.

I like it because it's instant gratification.

I enjoy going back home and helping my dad with yard work. I live in an apt in the city now so there is something nostalgic about helping my dad out with all the stuff on our farm. It definitely provides a sense of satisfaction waking up in the morning knowing how much you have to do and seeing everything complete at the end of the day. I’m going home over Memorial Day to give my dad a full weekend of labor since he’s 65 and doesn’t need to be doing everything himself anymore. I fricking hate weed eating though, I constantly have to stop and restring those damn things only to have to repeat the process 3-4 minutes later.

Curious to hear how that works. I've seeded 2-3 times but it doesn't seem to take well. Our GSD does a number on the grass

Same here. If I did something that my dad thought was bad, ie getting in a fight with my brothers, my punishment was to rake the yard. Our yard was the size of a football field with lots of trees.

Once I had to rake the yard four days in a row. Hated raking ever since.

I read somewhere a while back that the motion of raking leaves is dangerous and causes a lot of heart issues and deaths...seriously...it has to be done of course but it is damned hard work...

When I was young and could tolerate the heat, yes. Now, not so much.

I like getting outside in the morning on an off day and tearing some weeds up.

Get some AirPods and jam out. If I’m feeling spicy I’ll day drink like the red neck I am.

I like the basic cutting, weedeating, edging, blowing.

I don't like pulling weeds.

I love working in the yard. The amount of people in my neighborhood that don’t even cut their own grass is pathetic. Small yards, you can’t even take 20 minutes to cut your own grass? Lazy asses

I hate it. No offense to those who do. I have allergies and get conjested immediately. Paying for lawn care has been the best money I've ever spent and I probably come out ahead in the end with few doctors visits.

I love it but I absolutely despise wasp and am highly allergic to them, so I can’t get out to do stuff as much as I wish I could. You just can’t find and kill every single nest that’s on your property. But yard work is a big stress reliever for me and I feel good while doing it. Even in the middle of the summer and all.

I enjoy gardening, flowers, vegetables and such, but mowing the grass is a chore.
