Not yard work, but I'm finding more-and-more that I enjoy just being outside, regardless of the activity. Just feel so sluggish when I'm rotting front of the television/my laptop in the artificial light for hours on end.

Even if I take my work outside, at least I'm off of my couch/work station and getting some fresh air.

I enjoy mowing. I hope I get more into other yard items as well as i get a little older. I do wish my lot was better for mowing.

Side yards are small and shaded so grass doesn’t grown. Too many utility items as well to work around.

Yes.

I just like working in my yard or on my house or around my property in general.

Its pretty rare these days where I get just a day to work in my yard all day, but I love those days.

The end of the day beers just taste better as your admire all your hard work.

Preach brother. I do anything around the house that needs doing because I am too cheap to pay someone and finding anyone who knows better than me how to do it is might near impossible. I know for a certainty though that most folks in their 30s disagree completely and I get it...I am just too cheap to pay someone to cut my grass or put brakes on my truck...

I enjoy cutting my grass and weed eating. Plug in some good tunes and let 'er rip. I also enjoy tending to my little vegetable garden.

Hell yeah. I listen to music while I do it. Post grass cutting mid-day beer is a GOAT drinking moment with the smell of fresh cut grass.

I enjoy it less and less each time.

I did get some 3M WorkTunes ear protection that allow me to just listen to whatever in peace, though.

Mowing, edging, trimming, blowing... doesn't bother me too much.

I hate pine straw. I hate planting. I had maintaining trees and shrubs. etc.

I like mowing the lawn. I don’t mind weedeating. I hate every other part of yardwork. I have 5 acres, about 2-3 is grass I mow. It’s fallen trees, bushes, pulling weeds etc that I fricking hate

I'd be a world-class sprinter from telling my dad to go kick rocks if he told me to do that

Nope, I enjoy laying out the landscaping, deciding where everything will go, and even putting it together but hate the maintenance and upkeep. Have a yard service for that

I have acres and woods. Have my own little forestry select cut going on at a small pace. I cut walking trails thru it. Deer use them too. Mow about 2.5 acres. Use a regular JD garden tractor from sunshine equip

For those that LIKE weedeating, what head do y'all use? I have a Echo pas-225 and the head is much nicer than my last one but I still hate it. The string keeps going back inside it.

My Saturdays in the spring and summer typically go as follows:

0545: Wake up, let dog out
0600: Start coffee and as soon as it becomes aromatic...bathroom.
0610-0800: Drink coffee, freshen up, check up on the news
0800: Grab the shovel and a Wal Mart bag, walk the property picking up dog mess and any fallen branches, which come into play later.
0845: Sitting in shed, drinking water, earbuds in, stringing my trimmer.
0900-1100: Edge, trim, cut, and blow front and back yards.
1100-1900: Shower up and relax.
1900: Throw a starter log in the fire pit and the fallen branches from earlier on top and sit outside with the wife and dog enjoying some good wine, a fire, and a well-kept yard.

It's something I look forward to and I could definitely see myself having a small side-hustle doing that one day.

Give me a sunny day with nothing to do but roll up a big green fat one, turn on some bob segar, crack a beer, and ride on my mower

Sure thing. Have about 1 acre and it's enough for me. Do equipment maintenance when it's cooler in spring and all set for the year.
