Tony’s seafood on Plank Road in Baton Rouge has my #1 vote. What y’all say?

Benoit’s pepperjack balls are the best. Perfect crust, well seasoned boudin, just the right amount of cheese

There’s a place in DeRidder called Soileau’s and I’d give them my vote.

It would be tough to beat Billy's

Kartchner's jalapeno cream cheese ball is legit too, although I don't care for their boudin but this is legit

Tony’s is probably the worst. Have you tried any others?

In BR I like Ronnie’s.

Billy’s are damn good outside of BR.

I think Tony's are way too salty, especially the crawfish boudin balls. I had some from Day's that were pretty damn good.

Billy's is too crowded. Kartchner's just across I-10 is GOAT grab-n-geaux Their boudin balls are amazing.

I agree it is too crowded but it’s better than katchners I think, and so does the masses.

Billys sells more boudin balls than everyone else combined. Billys is easily the best.

You’re going to the wrong Billy’s location. Exxon station at 106 Pont de Mouton (exit 1C off I49 north) … I’ve walked right up and at worst was the 4th person in line. They have 3 checkout registers and the wait is < 5 minutes.

The Billy’s Scott location at exit 97 is a clusterfk. I will go to Best Stop or Kartchners before Bilys

I’ve had Kartchner’s boudin a few times in the last few months and the regular is great. Smoked is a bit much. Certainly not hating on Billy’s.

As far as fried boudin balls, I think if you are craving them whatever you get will be the best with a tall cold white can in a little paper bag.

I agree. There was a place in St. Martinville called Tuffy's that had great boudin balls when I got off work from the SMSO about 6am. Those ladies in the deli made some damn fine boudin balls.

Unpopular opinion:

Cheese should not be in boudin balls. And Billy’s are too big and crusty.

Tonys is where it’s at
