Maybe he should piss them off. Accountability goes a long way in trying to change someone.

IDK about maturity, but it's safe to say he's got a serious food problem. The guy cant stop eating himself to near 300 lbs.

Zion probably needs some professional help to address his food addiction and he has too many enablers around him. Pels should get JaMarcus Russell to come talk to him and explain where his career is headed if he doesn't change his lifestyle drastically.

But why??? Because of conditioning or did he reinjure it?? This is getting ridiculous. Old man Tom would have traded Zion and fired Griff by now.

This latest Zion injury debacle is the one that broke me. I just don't care anymore. I don't care if it's Zion's fault or Griff's fault. I wouldn't even care if they moved him this summer (they won't, but I wouldn't be opposed). I don't even care for updates. It's all the same, and will continue to be the same. I would say I won't believe anything until he's actually back on the court, in games, but even then it's just waiting for the next injury.

I think everyone body is different. He may have a tendency to gain weight a lot quicker than most people whether thats muscle or fat. If thats the case than you need to limit your calories when injured. But in the long run you need to lose 30 -40 pounds so your not injured in the first place.

Same here. Just apathy at this point.

There's plenty of ways to stay in shape while nursing a hamstring. Plenty of players get hamstrings, but only zion comes back fat. If he cared enough he would do what it takes to stay in shape but he doesnt care enough to do that.

The only time he's been rehabbing and seemed to do well fitness wise was when he was in Portland. Any time he's got an injury that will mean missing more than a few days, they need to make him live "on campus" somewhere where his diet and exercise are a lot more controlled.

maturity ties into work ethics, eating habits, relationships with teammates and organization, his distancing from the media often, the whole nine yards. It's always been a subtle issue.

When griff says maybe about zion returning. It’s usually a no. He’s done for the year.

Zion has so many boxes he needs to check for him to get okayed to play it’s pretty wild

obesity does not prevent you from playing. Does not matter how fat he is/isn't. If he's out of shape and cant provide more than 5 solid minutes at at time, that would be an indictment on Zion and his work ethic. Being not healed is another. One is controllable and other to a much lesser extent. The reason matters. If he's out of shape, then there is no hope for him....ever.

Go watch the last dance. MJ was playing 5 on 5 back at UNC after breaking a bone in his foot with the bulls. The bulls didn't even know. MJ wanted to play at all costs, no matter what. Zion seems to not care one bit

He does NOT give a shite. Lazy fat slob 22 year old that played 29/games a year for 4 years and was paid over $100 Million in endorsements, shoe deals and salary.

Why can’t they just play his fat arse. Forget protecting this dude. It’s sink or swim as far as I’m concerned at this point.

Let him play 10-15 minutes and if he gets hurt move on. We can’t depend on Zion anyway.

How pissed do you think Jordan brand is? The further we get away from the duke years the less relevant zion becomes since he doesn't play nba basketball. They are going to have warehouses full of unsold zion shoes

As long as he has been out, I am sure he is not in NBA condition. However, he is not fat. I sit a few rows from the bench and see him each game. He is not fat.
