Shams said something about "the team is being extremely cautious"

Wouldn't surprise me for them to say 2 more weeks of theyr3 already leaking about how cautious they want to be

Whats the point of being cautious with him? he still gets hurt anyway. Play him if he can play.

"But remember we're not dealing with one injury here. He strained his hamstring, then he had a set back. Two completely different injuries and it's not fair to judge the time he has been out as just a hamstring strain."

- Every single person in Pels media

Stop letting this freaking training staff off the hook.

He's missed 3 months and change. At this point its on everyone. Zion, the training staff, and the FO. All of them collectively need to pull their heads out of their arse and get this guy on the court

I don’t want to sound like an a-hole, but what’s the point of being cautious with Zion? He can’t stay healthy either way.

Kleiber and Zion had entirely different injuries.

That's not being an a-hole. Clearly being uber cautious with Zion is not the way to go. Go with the SVG model and stop babying him. Make him stretch like crazy like CJ and make him go hard in practice. It's also ok for a guy to play when he's not 100% (it's going to be super rare for him to be 100% at any given time in his career), other stars play when they are banged up. Especially given that we are in crunch time and should be treating every single game as a playoff game right now.

When we hired AN, there were a lot of reports that his reputation was purely based on being ultra ultra conservative, and that he had been surpassed by quite a few others, quietly, in the industry.

We (including me) all dismissed this after the shitshow of previous staffs. Now it appears to 100% be true.

Whether true or not, whatever he's doing is not working with Zion.

And Zion is too important to us to not give someone else a try at this point.

If he can’t get any run these next 7-10 days he isn’t going to be worth a playoff roster spot.

He is probably 20 lbs heavier than he was when he got hurt and is going to be challenged to have any level of conditioning based on past experience.

We need to just let it go and hope BI can get us to the second round or better. Zion is a ghost for the rest of this season

We don't know and apparently nobody asked follow up questions or said "Zion was seen working with coaches" or "Zion was not seen at practice" either. All we can really do is pretend he's at the doctor getting imaging.

Even if he is 100% healed, his slow/fast, double-jump play style means more of these muscle pulls are coming.. especially at his current weight

It could happen 3 minutes into the first playoff game, or 3 games into next season. Waiting until he is 110% healthy is pointless

Unless Zion stops playing the way he does (which is what makes him the talent that he is), then these types of injuries will always happen

He's our Roger Clemens.. unavailable for 140 games a year, but if you get lucky he gives 30 Cy young innings in the playoffs (and yes he should be stacking steroids on top of whatever regimen Lebron is on that the league doesn't care about)

Zion always wants to return and the team doesn't allow it.

We know that has happened multiple times before.
