Zion did not practice today

This is lacking a lot of context.
Was he not doing anything at all, or has he not progressed to full practices with the team?

Shams says hes been doing low intensity 3 on 3’s with the coaching staff.
This close to the playoffs teams don’t really do hard practices anyway

I would expect he won't be cleared for "practice" until his 2 week evaluation. There's a big difference between
Coach Green: “No he didn’t go through practice today.”
and Zion wasn't at practice doing what he's been cleared to do.

I honestly have no idea if zion is going to play again this regular season. Now that we almost surely have at least a play in spot locked up they could bring him back for the playins to give him more rest

Last year there wasn't talk of "immediate return to play" when he was cleared.

If he doesn't play again this regular season, I will be pissed. It would be unbelievably misleading by this organization for the second year in a row. They have definitely floated the information that he will be back this year. A big part of the late season optimism, at least for me, has been that he will be back this week with a few ramp up games before play in/playoff games.

Apparently Shams said he’s been doing low intensity 3 on 3s but can’t officially go through team practice until he gets re-evaluated.

He could have got scans yesterday and practiced today. Why would he go get scans on our last practice before Minny. That sounds nuts.
Will be utterly pissed and disappointed if we’ve been lead up the garden path with this and he doesn’t play in this important stretch

"Zion was re-evaluated today and can now take part in 5 on 5 team activities at a light pace. He will be re-evaluated the day before the Western Conference Finals"

At this point wouldnt it have been faster to get surgery? I mean maxi kleber tore his hamstring, got surgery and still got back before zion
