One thing I never see from the Desantis fans...how Desantis is immune to the election shenanigans that Trump faced nationwide.

The four years of Trump was obviously better than this, at least until he turned over the country to Fauci.
But culturally, we're WAAAAYYY worse as a country than in 2016, and Trump played a role in that. He represents us perfectly - substance-less, vapid, materialistic, boorish, self-serving, attention seeking, etc. And he's the better of the two!
The real question is whether we can improve on that, and the answer could be no. Our elites are by and large horrible, horrible people. I'm willing to take a chance on someone I think is probably a smarter, better human being and who also probably has a better chance to win, but DeSantis is just a guy too, he's not going to save this country. The best thing we can hope for is that he begins a small amount of restorative work and that a larger portion of Americans buy into that and look for more of the same in the next cycle.

The Prosecution of politcal opposition should disgust any rational mind. Folks like his common sense approach on policy foreign and domestic. And his bombastic nature although it does create too many narratives to use against him it also shows that he is hard pressed to back down from a fight. If thet get away with them doing it now it will set a precedent going forward hes the guy that this nonsense needs to stop with now.
